    • Too soon to know longevity. It's the only dimmable LED that is equivalent to 200 watts or more.

Gives good light. When at its brightest good for reading. I use dimmer when maximum is not necessary. Other 200 watt equivalent is not dimmable, so use it elsewhere.

3 years in it’s starting to flicker as it’s dying. I have a Lutron cassetta dimmer, and this lightbulb only lasted 3 years on it. Also when dimmed it looses color resolution and makes everything look washed out. I don’t recommend. Go with Philips warm glow instead.

The light is rated at 3500 K. I normally buy 5000 K or 6000 K lights, as I like a whiter light This 3500 K light provides a warm and yellowish light and is far less bright than I was expecting. They claim that it outputs 4,000 lumens, but my standard white light LED light bulbs (100W equivalent bulbs) provide as much light (or even a little more) than this light bulb. Additionally, this light bulb is gigantic. It will fit in an ordinary base, but the bulb itself is extremely large and is not going to work in lamps that use clip-on shades. Anyway, in my view the bulb is gigantic, the light is not very bright (it's yellowish and dim), and I feel my own 100W equivalent LED white light standard normal-sized light bulbs give as much (or more) light than this very large bulb does, so I'm going to stick with the bulbs I have been using and put this bulb in the spare light bulb drawer for a rainy day. ... show more
