Bought this tv stand / fireplace a couple months ago prior to moving and setting up. Looks great just like the picture. 100% pleased with the unit. Easy to assemble. The fireplace is not the best on graphics, but wasn't expecting it to be. It is what it is, we've had better. Mainly wanted it provide a bit of heat to take the chill off. PROBLEM: the heater unit does give off heat, but the fan is very noisy. Now, a few months later, I thought we were simply out of luck. USED THE CONTACT SELLER via Amazon feature. Expected a reply 2-3 days later. SOLUTION, PROBLEM SOLVED... THE SELLER CONTACTED ME less than an hour later. WOW. After explaining the issue... The instructions on how to put together are awful and very hard to follow. There were no written instructions, just diagrams, and sometimes they were not clear at all. It took a lot longer to put the stand together than expected. However, once the stand was completely assembled, I love it! I love the black color against our red brick wall. The 44" TV fits perfectly on the top and DVD player and Wii fit on the second shelf. I also love the glass doors. Just the overall style is very pleasing. The stand itself is very sturdy and stable and we did not use the support strap mainly because we did not want to drill into the brick but also because there did not seem to be a need for it. Also, the fireplace really puts out the heat and is lovely to watch even if you do not want the heater on. I highly recommend this product and believe that it would be a very useful and stylish addition to any room. ... show more

We rec'd the box last week and started putting it together today. My husband put it together in about an hour and it wasn't that difficult. We bought the black 24" fireplace and, tho it was packed very well, it had scratches and marks all over it from the carelessness of the factory (NOT Amazon's fault). We were almost finished and went to put in the firebox but we couldn't find it. Turns out, our Amazon delivery driver left it on his truck and didn't want to come back to our home to delivery BOX 2 OF 2, so he returned it to Amazon! I couldn't figure out why I was getting credited for the fireplace being returned when it was sitting at our home and we didn't figure it out until we discovered the missing box after it was assembled. It's nothing more than a very expensive tv stand without the fireplace portion. On the other hand, it's cute, sturdy, easy to assemble and everything we actually wanted, but didn't get. Amazon driver should have done his job and not been so LAZY! ALSO...it's NOT a 24 inch firebox....that's the measurement from lower corner to opposite upper corner. We recently completely redid our living room. We wanted a piece that would enhance our living room and add an inviting touch to the room. This is fantastic! Sturdy, great coloring, rustic and perfect for the room. Gives the area a mature and inviting automsphere. Easy instructions, great value for the money and would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this purchase. One warning, you will now spend more time than ever in your living room, enjoy your relaxing time even more, probably won't get much else done because of this piece of furniture, it's fun, charming and we love it.     • Some problems
This gets 5 stars from me as it is a lovely piece of furniture. However, some important information was omitted from the description. 1. Safety instructions state to “use outlet for electric fireplace only”. I have one outlet behind the cabinet - this is a TV stand, now where would I plug in my TV and TV equipment? 2. “Avoid using an extension cord.” There would not be an outlet nearby for this anyway. 3. “Always unplug appliance when not in use.” Of course, the outlet is behind the cabinet - how am I going to do that, move the cabinet? I am 89 years old and live in a retirement home. I consulted with our maintenance department and was advised to plug the fireplace directly into the outlet as described in the warnings, buy a power strip/surge protector to plug my TV and other TV equipment into. He said if there is an overload, the circuit breaker would take care of that, so no fire concern, and it is okay to leave it plugged in at all times. If these instructions that came with the TV cabinet and fireplace were available with Amazon’s description, it would have been most helpful. ... show more

    • Beautiful TV Stand Horrible Customer Service
This is a beautiful fireplace tv stand that has worked beautifully. However, the switch to turn on the heat no longer works. I have sent numerous emails to the seller to find out if its still under warranty or what my options are to have the switch repaired but they have ignored all of my requests for a response. I'm unable to call them because their phone number isn't listed and cannot be found. However, when I inquired about purchasing a new unit via email, they responded to me so clearly they are still in business- just not for after sale customers. There is a message on the heater that says "no serviceable parts inside" so I have no idea what to do. I'm now left with a fireplace with no heat. Their continued silence is deafening. UPDATED: I still have not been contacted by this Seller since my initial review. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS SELLER! ... show more

    • Great unit!
I had been searching for a fireplace to stand for several months and finally decided on this piece. Some reviews made me cautious regarding building it, but it was really easy. Took me about 2 hours, and probably would have been quicker, but I am in a knee brace and couldn’t sit on the floor. This stand looks great, super sturdy and compliments my area. Only frustration was getting the fireplace screws in to place. Get a LONG magnetic screw driver and you’ll have no issue! I had to enlist the help of my 7 year old and her tiny hands to get the screws in place before I could tighten. Other than, assembly was a breeze. ... show more
