  • Worth the purchase
For a budget range finder it works very nicely. It’s quick, accurate and has 7x magnification which helps you lock on target fast and easy. Device itself is small and fits in your hand easily. Magnetic side is strong which is what I was looking for. View while looking through it was clear and you could everything plainly. Pleasantly surprised!! ... show more

  • Feature rich, value priced range finder
The number of range finders in the $100 value price range is astonishing. For anyone looking to get into this entry level pricing, it seems there is no shortage of choices. What differentiates these models is features and optics. This model from Sesslife is PACKED with everything you could want, and performance that rivals some of the bigger names. I have been evaluating models in this range over the last year, and comparing them to a model that I've been using on the course for a few years that sits at a price point about double this, and carries a much more recognizable name. To summarize quickly, this unit compares favorably to all the units I've tested, and is competitive with my expensive brand named model, only falling slightly behind in clarity and brightness of optics. To start with the key features, this unit checks the boxes on: range beyond what you'd need on a golf course, on/off slope feature, a strong magnet to keep the range finder safe, a decent carrying case, and a flag lock vibration. Check, check, check. What this one has that others have not: rechargeable batter with a usb-c plug, and a magnetic belt holder. The rechargeable battery may be controversial, but I find that nowadays most golf carts have a USB port, or I have a battery pack with me to back up phone power. What I don't usually have is a replacement 3V battery that other range finders are using. So if this were to die mid-round, I'm more likely to have a backup plan with me. The belt hook is not something I normally look for, but I actually loved the add, and the unit connected securely to it. As long as I keep it more on my back and not in a place that interferes with my back swing, it saves me a trip back to the cart. Now for the optics. At 7x zoom, I was excited to try this out, 6x seems to be standard in most units I've tested. To be honest, the difference between 6 and 7x is not substantial. By itself, the optics are fine. It also has a focus adjustment at the eye piece. I would not think twice about the quality just looking through the the eye hole. But when I compare it to my higher end unit, I can absolutely see a clarity and brightness difference. It's a pretty noticable difference too. Again, the Sesslife pro isn't BAD, but it's much darker and shows less detail than the more expensive models. When I compare it to similarly priced units, the optics are as good as, or better. I've decided to go with a 5 star rating on the Sesslife. It's better than a lot of other models in this price range and has all the basic features most golfers will use. If you retwant advanced features or optics that take it to the next level, you had better change your Amazon price filters, and be ready to shell out a couple hundred dollars as a starting point. For all the rest, this is a go-to. ... show more

  • Works pretty well
This thing works pretty well compared to a couple others, and as of now it's only $60. It worked up to almost 1,000 yards on a large building, and at closer ranges it seems to be in the ballpark. I have not used it on the course and compared with yardage markers to try and assess accuracy down to less than one foot like is claimed in the listing. Most of us aren't accurate enough on distance for that precision to be necessary anyway. ... show more

  • very easy to use can be a litlle tricky to use in harsh sunlight.
This range finder is super lightweight and easy to use as long as you can provide it enough shade to easily see the display. The magnet on the back can also be very handy with the included belt clip. I was not able to change the measurement to feet however but yards is good enough. Very good product. ... show more

  • Works great!
My husband has a fancy range finder, but I thought it was about time I got one too. I don't play golf often so didn't want to invest too much into it. This one is super light weight. It was easy to charge. There are only a couple buttons so not complicated to use. Just point at the flag and get your yardage with the the slope differential. I check the yardage with my husband's range finder and the one in the golf cart and this one seemed pretty accurate. It comes with a nice hard case, charger, and cleaning cloth. So far, it's been great. ... show more

  • great addition to the bag.
It's great addition to the bag if you are trying to play better. It is very accurate to the pin from any range. The slope is also great for getting a more accurate measurement and is very easy to turn off. The magnet attach to the side is very strong stays attached to what ever it touches very well. Overall it is a high quality rangefinder and is perfect for what it is priced at. ... show more

  • Accurate and repeatable
I've tested this out against my old Bushnell and against my GPS. It's really close to both. I like the elevation feature on it and pin seeker seems to lock in really well. I'm happy with this.
