I bought the silver one and added the crystals (already had some leftover from another "project") and a color-changing light bulb. This way I could make it look whatever color I wanted, so what you see pictured is not what it looks like out-of-the-box. It's clear just like in the photos, but I wanted to add my own touch. It was not hard to assemble (and I am not good at assembly). I like the switch. It sits on the floor and you can manually turn it off/on with your foot or hand, so it's convenient. It's pretty sturdy. The base has weight, so it's not top-heavy and likely to fall over. So far, I have not had any issues with it falling over, but it is not in a high-traffic area. Since I used a color-changing bulb, the brightness varies, but it is bright when using a standard bulb. It's good for a bedroom/office. I think it's too small for a larger room, but that's just my opinion. ... show more

I love this lamp! This bling-bling lamp is perfect for my bedroom. It added elegance to a once drab space. It was very, very easy to assemble and light weight. One of the lamps great attributes is the cut-off, foot operating switch. I appreciate the fact that with one light touch of my foot, off the light goes.
