I purchased this for some terribly itchy skin. The consistency is nice and not sticky or too watery. I did not notice any fragrance. I bought this after reading an v article about how sift your hands are if you put this lotion on and wear cotton gloves to bed. Sounds weird and I woke up without the gloves on but my hands are so soft. This is my go to hand lotion during the dam-pandemic. I actually bought this because I was washing my hands and wrists to the point of rawness and irritation. I do not have eczema but I can tell you that my skin was severely irritated for a few months and I did not know what to do. I searched tons of lotions on Amazon and this one was the best price and a brand I already had experience with. It has worked wonders for my hands and wrists. This product is a LIFESAVER. Seriously the only thing that keeps my eczema relieved. Found this during a crazy flair up. My family member went all out with her voodoo oils trying to cure it and it made it so much worse. I was doing every kind of soak, bath, and old wives tale treatments. For awhile in the summer I had eczema on one of my fingers, but I didn't know what it was until I did some web surfing. I found this and decided to try it. It took more than week but eventually the itchy dots on that finger started to go away and I can finally find relief. The best lotion I have found by far for my dry skin care. In the past year any area of an outbreak that I used Gold Bond Ultimate cream ( in the bright yellow gold tube) worked very well. Within 5-10 days the spot was cleared or greatly healed and not irritating any longer. Stay with it, this cream works. In very bad spots first I applied neosporin cream a day or two before using the Gold Bond, but after a while in past few months I stopped using the neosporin and Gold Bond still worked quite well.
