The 90º angle is the one we tested, and it worked well. The lip helped keep it in place, but we did it on the shelf of a cabinet. If you needed it on the inside of a drawer, you’d be in trouble because the lip would interfere. So it would not be useful in an enclosed space – only on the edge of the wood. It squared up easily, and the notches for the clamps are convenient and make the task easier. My husband has made a few birdhouses, and I think the 45º angle will be helpful for him with the roof portion of the birdhouse. He loved these. I love them because I can use them even though I’m not a woodworker and don’t really know what I’m doing. Some of the repair tasks will be easy for me to handle when he’s out of town. The price seems fair to me compared to the price of other clamps I’ve gotten for him in the past. ... show more

Review: GOINGMAKE Corner Clamps for Woodworking with Both 45- and 90-Degree Angles - Aluminum Alloy - Right Angle Clamps for Picture Frame Boxes and Cabinets Drawers Overall, this is a pretty decent set of corner clamps. I like the smaller size of this set. I have many corner clamps that are quite a bit larger. I needed a set smaller than what I have been using and this set fits the bill. I have been making small box frames and these are much nicer to work with. They are made from an Aluminum Alloy. This means another substance has been added to the aluminum to strengthen it. They feel sturdy and well-built but not heavy, which is nice. They are also thick to avoid any twisting under higher pressure. Seldom do I make 45-degree corners on my box frames, but occasionally a customer will ask for that. This set offers both 45- and 90-degree angles. It's a nice option to have. The lettering looks to be lasered into the aluminum, but it is not near as white and easy to read the actual clamp itself. My last photo is an attempt to see that but with digital photography, it doesn't look that bad. It is much worse than the photo shows and is a bit difficult for me to see clearly. Although I cleaned it off for the photos, two of the four knobs had glue or some other sticky substance all over them. It wiped off fairly easily, but it did take some pressure to get it all off. I like the set, but these little issues are easily correctable with a little more attention to detail. ... show more

These are really sturdy clamps made from aluminum. These clamps are on the smaller side and work perfectly for smaller cabinetry. Both 45 & 90 degree are equally easy to setup. The clamps hold tight and securely. All the parts on this set are well constructed and don't have any sharp edges. The laser etched numbering is crisp and clear. The product was well packaged to prevent damage as can be seen in my first photo. The product description is accurate, even if disappointing since there are only two clamps being provided. It would be great if this were a four-clamp set. You will either love or hate the offset edge or “lip” on these clamps. I admit that if you require your clamps to be inside the joint and not at an outside edge, these clamps will not work for you. However, for me, I think the offset edge is a great idea since it eliminates the awkwardness of aligning the clamps into position while attempting to tighten them. In my second photo you can see that the clamp rests on the top edge of my project corner, making it very easy to tighten. It may take time for you to get used to using this style of clamping system but if you try it, I think you will love it. One improvement I would like to see is a storage case. While the foam packaging is great for shipping, it makes it awkward for accessing the parts for use while working on a project. ... show more

This is my first set of corner clamps so I can’t compare them to others. However, these clamps are very well made and easy to use. The lip ensures that the clamp is properly aligned with the edge of the board but it also prevents the clamp from being placed farther down on the board. The L-shaped screws are only 4 inches long and with the positioning block and locking screw installed, will only work on boards up to 2 1/4” wide. ... show more

    • Decent set!
The media could not be loaded. Not a bad set, and quite different from the rest. I do like the ability to use for 45º work. They are very accurate for the price. The knobs are cheap, but those are easily replaceable. All in all a good one to look at.
