I have bought this three times. I think the amp burns up cause I have no where to put it other then saddle bag. My sportster is used as primary transportation 12 months a year. I get about one year out of the amp. I ride through crazy rain and the remote is slightly inside the windshield my bike is very rarely covered so not bad really. Im buying my 4th now cause I just don't think you can beat the price. Cons Need to unhook the radio if it's going to set for more then a few days. This is where a connection to the plug-in on the bike would be nice but it's wired directly to battery. ... show more

Best sound you will get without a stereo system! I bought these about a year ago and they still work good. I wear a full faced helmet and can still hear the music most of the time, even without a windshield. I can’t hear it great on the highway if it’s windy. I did have issues with it turning off at first when I sat on the bike, because the amp is under the seat. I repositioned and turned the amp around and it has not done that since. It doesn’t sound good with the volume all the way up on a song with a lot of bass. I haven’t connected it to the ignition yet, so it doesn’t start automatically when I start my bike. It is so easy to turn it on with the remote mounted on the handlebars though. My friend got a simile product by boss and she had to connect it to the ignition. I am not very good with wiring, so I like that I didn’t have to do that or pay to have it done. It is absolutely not 1000 watts obviously, but I am happy with my purchase. I wish there was a way I could get a stereo without a fairing. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. We bought this to put on our 2018 road king. We had the dealership put it on and they placed two on the crash bars and two on the handle bars. They sound really good when sitting and moving. Of course getting on the highway it is difficult for a passenger to hear. It's a good addition for the amount of money it cost. You do have to turn off the system completely when you turn your bike off or it will drain the battery. Also if you put it in your saddle bag be careful what else you out in there cause it might unplug stuff ... show more

Wanted to give a straight up honest opinion on these. Just arrived today, and just got done installing them. As far as sound quality, pretty awesome for what they are! I can turn them all the way up, no matter what song is playing, and I get absolutely zero distortion!! The downfall with these, especially installing on my spyder, is the speaker wires arenyvquite long enough and neither is the power chord. My only option for amp placement is up in the front trunk. I had to add about 15" of wire to the power chord to be able to install it up front. No big deal. Took 5 minutes to do that. I had ordered these with the plan to install 2 speakers on my bars and 2 on the rear passenger hand bars. Unfortunately, no go at all. Wires are about 15" too short for that as well. If I was to install the amp in the engine compartment everything would work, but that amp gets super super hot just sitting by itself, so I don't think it would last a minute inside the engine bay. My biggest complaint is the antennas!! They do absolutely nothing. Pretty much non existent. I hooked up both for FM and for Bluetooth. Bluetooth I'm not worried about because of where my phone is mounted, but the FM radio would be nice. Sorry people, don't even think about picking up FM radio. I didn't get one single station, with or without the antenna. It did nothing at all. Crazy thing is I have the 70.00 2 speaker setup, same brand, with no antenna, and it actually picked up a few radio stations but very very disappointed with that part of this one. Long story short. If you want good sound and using it for Bluetooth only, get it!! Works great and sound is awesome. If you are expecting to be able to listen to radio stations, forget it, do not buy. With the price of these, I'm very disappointed that the radio doesn't pick up any stations. I may send these back, get my 180.00 back, and just keep the first 2 speaker set I bought. It's not as loud, but works much better. Anyways, this is my review and hope it helps!! ... show more

Sound quality gets a little distorted at higher volumes but sounds great otherwise! Would recommend if you want a great sound for a decent price. I fit all 4 on my Fatboy and I can hear music at 80 on the freeway
