    • Amazing for cars w/o bluetooth!
I normally don’t write reviews, but I just had to sing the praises of this little device! To preface all of my comments: I drive a 2011 Chevy Impala that is well used, and I have driven about 10k miles since I bought it two years ago, using this device almost every time I am in the car. 1. Connection This automatically connects to my phone every time I turn it on since I paired it. Sometimes even if my bluetooth isn’t on yet! The pairing process was super easy, considering I can barely remember doing it. It connects to other devices easily if I turn my bluetooth off, but I hardly ever have a need to do that. One con is that I have accidentally left it in my car during extreme cold or heat (I live in the Northeast so we get both) and it will have some issues with dropping connection for like ten minutes before returning to normal. I don’t consider this an issue since any electronic will have issues after sitting in a freezing or boiling car for hours. 2. Music This plays music through my speakers better than an actual AUX cord, which always has some staticky background. This plays my music seamlessly as if my car had bluetooth originally. Even when I’m maxxing out my volume, lol! 3. Battery life I believe I only really charge it like once or twice a month, depending on how much I drive. Now, I don’t drive a lot compared to others so this may vary, but I would say I get a good 6-8 hours of use before I charge it. This has remained consistent over two years of use. I also keep the charger in my car and just plug it in when it tells me to. It will work while plugged in as well! I’ve done that a lot. 4. Maps and music I’ve frequently had music/a podcast playing while I have directions going on my phone as well. It will play the audio just how your phone would. Music is softened to hear any directions, and podcasts are fully paused until the directions are done being read. Again, I’ve never had any issues with that in my use of it for road trips and longer drives to college and such. Apologies for the lengthy review but after two years this thing is still working amazing and I highly recommend it for anyone looking to make their older car bluetooth-capable!!! ... show more

    • Little BT transmitter does the Job!!
Recently picked one of these little transmitters for my 07 Rav4 I just bought. No bluetooth connectivity, so this little bad boy does the job nicely. Hooks up via auxiliary jack (pre 2010 earphone jack, the small round hole lol) easy to set up and connect. Had my music blasting in seconds! Good clear sound. ... show more

I've had this for a few years now, so it's time to make a review! I use this device EVERY day and EVERY place I go. It's very easy to connect to my phone via Bluetooth, the functionality of the buttons is easy to understand and use, the quality and durability of the product is fantastic! I leave this in my vehicle at all times and that means it's endured the high heat of being in a vehicle, and also dealing with the intense lows, and it works without fail, always! The battery life lasts SEVERAL DAYS. I use this to listen to music every day to and from work (1 hour drive time total, 5 days a week). I usually don't have to charge it for a few weeks, honestly. :) I really cannot recommend this product enough! ... show more

    • Bluetooth headphone amplifier/receiver
I’ve gotten to the point of missing the detailed sound stage when wearing ear buds. And I work outside often, and the earbuds don’t have the battery life. So, I invested in IEM’s and got this to run them. Battery life is incredible! And it can be plugged in for infinite battery life. I used two part epoxy to affix a small clip onto it so I could hook it into my pocket and it’s working out perfectly. In the gym, working outside, welding, or just watching vids on the computer, this is amazing. With a set of mid range IEM’s, I’m back to feeling like an audiophile. My only complaint is that the ‘voice’ of the device is LOUD! Not sure how to adjust it, but it’s not too terrible. I’m a retired Combat Veteran with 4 deployments, so my hearing isn’t fantastic by any means. I can take calls and really hear well. And the mic is very clear according to the people I have talked to when using this. So, I’d give it a solid 4.5/5 stars, deducting half a star for the loud voice of the device. For 20 bucks, I’ll buy another one for backup. Excellent kit for the money. ... show more

    • Awesome little gadget!
Bought three of these: one for my 2016 Impala, one for my husband’s 2010 Tahoe, and one for our stereo from the way back days before lightning cables and iphones but after the first big ipods (it has a dock for the old-style ipod with the wide connector). This nifty thing replaced an untidy aux cord in my car — easily, within seconds it was up and running flawlessly and has continued to do so for audiobooks, music, and maps (not that it matters what you listen to — doesn’t seem to). It also made my husband and I super happy that we could now connect our phones wirelessly to control all aspects other than powering on our rarely-used but formerly awesome stereo instead of having to give up a phone and leave it hanging from the end of a series of adapters to the stereo system…having to walk over to the stereo (*shudder*) to make any adjustments or even to skip or FF or rewind. It doesn’t work in the Tahoe…apparently it did not have an aux cord jack like he thought it did. But we’re not sending it back…we like the other two so much that we are pretty sure we can find another device around here to upgrade! Seriously, even the first setup of the first device, including reading all the directions, took less than three minutes. Both devices in operation pair automatically and flawlessly and stay firmly connected. The metal aux adapter is very sturdy and allows you to position the device at any rotational angle in your car…but it comes with a cord as well if you prefer or need that option. Haven’t had to charge either one yet after several solid hours each — a few times in a row on one of the devices. Can’t speak to how long it takes to charge, but it says in the directions it can still be used while charging. So as long as you have a way to charge it near your device (like a charging cable in your car) — you should be able to use it nonstop. ... show more
