  • Great piece of home gym equipment!
When you’re adding anything to your home gym space is a premium and you should only have things that are versatile. This machine checks off the versatility box. Overall study and well built. It ads a ton of variety to your workouts. Same functionality as your hammer strength type of plate loaded gym machines with the added lat pull down/low row. I wouldn’t say it does one thing amazingly well but it does most things good enough. Some angles are a little awkward and you gota get creative. You may be between adjustments to find your perfect position. A lot of that has to do with your own hight or your bench hight. I was missing a small piece and the company got back to me immediately, sent me a one. Very responsive. Customer service was a 5/5. When you’re doing a comparison you have to compare it to the OG of leverage gyms and that’s a Powertech levergym. For almost double the price and comming in yellow it was a no go for me. ... show more

Quick shipping. Easy assembly. Very sturdy. The high and low cable exercises feel great. This is an excellent deal for the price point. So many exercises you can do with such a small footprint. This is a must for any home gym user. I would definitely purchase again without hesitation. Theres a couple of excellent reviews on YouTube to check out. ... show more

  • Two part review. Must take into account!
This is a two portion review and the reason why it’s a 3 star. 1- The Bad: Its craftsmanship you can clearly tell right way. It’s not the strongest metal. A lot of the holes didn’t align, you’ll have to fight with it a little, the welding as you can see in the picture is absolutely garbage. Being an experienced lifter it is very easy to break and bend this machine, the bar which you attach to the arms to squat (please folks look at the picture & company too, c’on guys you can do better), is a absolutely joke that they expect that little pin to be SAFE and hold pressure. That was a big let down and was the main reason in why I bought the machine for. Without a doubt it will bend and break. With that; clearly whom ever designed the machine have never lifted or gone to a gym and looked at different brands to see how they do, while you are using it to squat as you can see in the pictures, even if you have monkey arms lol you can not reach for the pin. Anyone who lifts knows you don’t start squaring from the bottom of the movement, ESPECIALLY IF HEAVY. Another let down! … and even then, if you do start from the bottom of the moment (well, you have to here) and have someone or manages yourself to pull the pin out, you can not alone put it back in and therefore you’ll be in trouble to get out of the machine. Most women will not use this machine easily for squatting movement. 2- The Good: Overall it is a nice machine for the price! While it’s right on the line to be too much money for it, you’ll not find much better elsewhere. You can do 20+ movements here, maybe twice more. Which makes it great for home gym or small studio. The paint on it looks nice, not rough to move parts around and if needed easy to move around and put together. It really has everything to be a 5 star equipment! (Ps. I’m a coach, pro-bodybuilder within OCB and 18 years and counting lifter) To the company: if you guys need someone honest to test your equipment and help you out. I’d be whiling because I believe this can be a great machine. ... show more

  • So far, so good!
Purchased the machine on the 1st of Jan to add more weight training to my already pretty active fitness routine. I was using a lot of free weights, but wanted something I'd feel comfortable using with out a spotter. I'd done a lot of research and, in particular, compared against the Powertec Workbench Levergym and the Body-Solid Corner Leverage Gym. Both of these other machines are close comparisons with some trade-offs. With the Body-Solid gym: While price is great, and the lifetime warranty is amazing - the downside is that both arms are fixed - which is a bummer if you want more versatility. The Powertec gym is a beast, but almost twice the price and you have to buy the bench that comes with it (I already have a bench I really like and don't like having extra stuff.) While GMWD a more recent and less expensive brand, I thought I'd roll the dice and try this one out. If I ended up loving it, great! If eneded up only liking it but needing more, then I could upgrade in the future. Machine arrived, and I assembled it fairly quickly. What I like: 1. Fairly easy assembly: Instructions are not the worst, or the best - but if you're reasonably handy, you should have it assembled in 90 minutes. 2. To begin, I loaded up 90lbs per arm and everything was stable (I'd load more, but need to buy them! :) The arms have a smooth glide, the pulleys work smooth as well. 3. The versatility: This machine does a lot, and each of them it does quite well. It comes with a number of accessories so you can get a lot out of the machine. 4. Stability: Like I said earlier, I wanted something that would make up for not having a spotter - particularly when it came to bench pressing. At no point did I feel worried about the stability of this machine. 5. Range of Motion: One thing I worried about was whether the range of motion would be prohibitive or be less impactful than free weights. I'm 6'0" and the range is great. I can see this working well for anyone shorter, and for anyone 5" taller than me. Beyond that, I think your head will start bumping into things. 6. I like the thought that went into some of the hooks on this machine. I can use them to hang some of the accessories, the pins, etc. Keeps me from losing them. What I didn't like: 1. Fit n' Finish. The machine was delivered with some scratches and scrapes that dug into the metal. I don't think this was the fault of the shipping company, but actually due to manufacturing. Pieces that had been bubbled wrapped and covered tightly had some deep scratches. All cosmetic, thankfully. 2. I like the red paint, but it can rub off with any rough friction - this includes assembly. It has a matte finish and no top-coat, which I think is part of the problem. Again, nothing major - just cosmetic. 3. It was missing 1 small piece - nothing critical, and the machine is still usable. I've contacted Customer Support so they can send me a replacement piece. I'll update my review based on that experience. While I've only owned this a short time, I'm happy with it so far. I'll update my review up/down if anything signifcant changes. ... show more
