Solved my vexing problem of continuously blowing fuses on my 89 S10. Since the turn signals and backup lights are on the same circuit, I finally realized what was going on when I had put a new fuse in and it blew as soon as I shifted into reverse. (Manual, of course) Previous to this I suspected a bad wire going to one of the turn signals or the backup lights and since I had just replaced those thought they were the culprit. It was this devil. An easy fix, access was on the driver's side of the trans, reached underneath. Undo the wire connector, unscrew with a 7/8 wrench, and install the new one. ... show more
