It’s nice and light perfect for little ones. But when you are putting the little bars use the wall and slowly add the bars together it takes some time but it can be done. It is very shaky and uses cheap metal that bends if you screw in the screws too tightly. Also its difficult to assemble. Each level of the bed is literally held in place by screws, so if the screws break there isn't a wedge to stop it from hitting the person underneath. This is by far the most poorly designed bunk bed that I've assembled. Never have they been so unsteady. I believe this is a lawsuit waiting to happen. I ordered this bunk bed on September 11th, recieved it September 14th. Estimated delivery was September 21st. Amazing on shipping! Set up was easy. Took a total of 3 hrs to put together. My 8 and 6 year old helped me put it together while my husband was at work. They definitely earned it. This bunk bed is a bit wobbly but it does come with screws to attach it to the wall. Which we used so that solved the problem of worrying if it's gonna come crashing down. It's not heavy to slide around. We have carpet and I was still able to move it around the room. It doesn't squeak while my children are moving around in it. Which I was a bit worried since it was metal. The spaces in between each bunk is generous. My kids won't feel claustrophobic. The media could not be loaded. ; The assembly sucks big time. The directions are a bunch of pics, they expect you to assemble each slat individually with NO SCREWS. They fall out as soon as you go to the next one. I had 4 ppl and we tried every way possible. The screws are too long for the frame so the nail sticks out one end and is protruding out the other end. Would have gotten 5 starts but instructions are written by the 4th person one a groups projects and forgets to contributed his portion and just submits the report with out doing anything. Got the packaging in 3 boxes no big deal. They are heavy so supplier beats them like a stepchild. All contexts were accounted for and nothing damaged. Finish on the wood was good. Instruction on the other had was a different story. To the editor the approved the instructions I hope you can make the changes. Not the best detail and products are missing assembly labels. The roofing section did not have a suggested spacing on the panels. So that was a trial and error of about 4x too many. Other than that I would recommend it to my one else. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. The first few days we didn’t use the hardware to bolt the top part of the bed against the wall. I quickly found out that it is needed. The bed will wobble a bit if you don’t attach it to the wall. After we attached it to the wall it didn’t wobble or make much noise at all. The kids love being in the same room since the 5 year old is afraid of the dark. The 7 and 9 year olds easily climb up and down the ladders even during the night to go potty. Make sure to get some 6 to 8 inch mattresses so the rails actually do their job. My bottom two mattresses are 10 inch twin XL and they are overkill for this bunk. The top one has an 8 inch an the 50 lb kids love it. Great value for the money. You will need a second person to assemble to make it easy but it’s possible to do with one person if you’re patient and have time. ... show more

Beds weren’t too difficult for my husband and I to put together and look nice once they’re all set up. They are very unsteady though…. too wobbly for being triple bunks and up so high!
