I don't know if am an absolute idiot, but the instructions that came with this particular item doesnt show the same item. I was VERY close to giving up and just returning it. the bracket that came with it doesnt fit, and the instructions didnt help either. i had to leave it out. (The cross looking bracket is what im referring to. ) i spent an hour trying to figure it out. i gave up and installed it without brackets. it holds up fine. i dont know if the bracket i received was the wrong size or what, but it DEFINITELY doesnt fit with the item. at all. I installed the base at the wall, and installed the rest after that. I used other screws that i had that didnt come with the package. you may or may not run into the same problem; given that the stuff they gave you actually goes together.. with that price, i can't complain. its a cute looking lamp. it is a bit too big to my liking but i kept it anyway since i already went through the trouble. ... show more

The box was trash taped together, but the lamp was practically perfect. I love the pale pink/rose color, and the ease of screwing the base in place then one little screw on either side of the lamp to attach it to the base and it's done. Beautiful soft lighting in my bathroom. I love the long plug cord for more placement options. **UPDATE** I liked it so well I recently bought another to attach to the headboard on my bed for bright light at low cost to my power bill.     • I haven’t encountered a worse device than this lamp.
Switch doesn’t work! Well, sometimes you can keep turning it and eventually it works, but sometimes you have to resort to unplugging the whole thing. Not “easy to install”. Have to remove tiny screws from side of lamp base that later had to be screwed on while holding lamp against wall. Also required anchor screws which seem overkill (and now leave holes in the wall where I have to remove lamp). ... show more

Had a bit of a problem assembling. You need an extra set of hands to hold the item in place while you assemble the screws to the base. This item provides adequate lighting for a small area. The on/off button can be a bit frustrating turning it.. Inexpensive quality and durability

I needed to add a light in a section of our breakfast counter, and needed something I could plug in as well as hardwire later. This fit the bill perfectly. Low cost, good quality, one of the brightest wall sconces available and super easy to install - it took less than 5 minutes. Highly recommend.

    • Loose neck
The gooseneck isn’t very strong and won’t really bend upward at all. Seems like the light pulls it down easily and is too heavy for the neck, so there’s not a lot of adjustability since the neck feels loose. But very cute and easy to install. The directed light is great.

So cute! I needed a lot for my 4 year olds bed, something she could reach up and turn on/off. Super easy install- color is a pretty pink, I love that the cord is clear/grayish and can be cut if need be. I will definitely be purchasing another 2 for my bedroom!
