This is an 8-piece canister set. They are made of glass. The wood lid has a rubber sealant to help keep them airtight. You also get 16 stickers and a marker included. I received these today and totally fell in love with them. Unfortunately, one did break during shipping, but I still think they are a great deal for the price. What I LOVE: They are different sizes. You can write on the stickers to help keep everything organized. I have a middle schooler and a high schooler who are on their own for breakfast. I added a quick little how to prepare on the labels to make things easier on all of us. They are cute and fun and exactly what I needed to get our family organized for back to school. These canisters are aesthetically pleasing and work great on the counter or in a cabinet. The actual quality is good too. They seem sturdy enough although they are glass. I was a bit worried at first but so far so good. The lid is easy to close and open. I would definitely recommend these.

I liked this set, but 5 out of 8 jars had a crack. Returned it and ordered a replacement today, hopefully the next set will be intact on arrival and I will change the stars to 5 from 3. The jars were snuggly packed in styrofoam, three of the smallest jars were packed inside the three of the largest, and were intact. But the larger 5 jars had cracks longer than 4 inches, 2 inches, and quarter inch starting from rim downwards. It was double boxed, but outer box had no bubble wrap /cushion etc to prevent the inner box from moving freely inside it. Outer box also lacked any sticker indicating that it is glass or fragile. Btw, the smallest three jars look like glass tumblers with lids. Update: The replacement set doesn’t have any cracked jars. So, I am changing the rating to 5 from 3. ... show more

    • Nice looking and work well - just very thin glass
I think these look nice on a countertop - but the glass is very thin. I am expecting at anytime to accidentally bang it too hard on the counter and the glass will shatter. I hope this doesn't happen, but the glass is extremely thin. I didn't return this set, but breakage does concern me. I am super careful when I handle these cannisters. They seem airtight and look nice, but if you're looking for something durable and strong, I might check elsewhere. ... show more

The design and style of the canisters is exactly as promoted. I like the variety of sizes, and the fact that they are all matching for a clean look in my kitchen. The largest canister is a little too small to hold a whole bag of sugar, in case you're wondering. Two of the canisters arrived with chips in the glass even though the packaging was intact, which tells me this is a manufacturing defect. One chip is on the side wall of one of the small containers, and the other is at the lip of a tall container. I am not convinced that the seals are all air-tight, but since I probably won't store perishables in all of the containers I decided not to return them for that reason. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I loved the quality of the canisters. Glass is thick and sturdy. You can put pretty much anything in them. I also love the look of them!

I love it, just wish they were more wider, but over all t a great set. Quality is great!! Saves a ton of storage space. Sturdiness is worth the money.
