I must have gotten lucky. I have many guitars and basses. This is the very first every instrument I've never ever had to touch/setup. Everything about this $85 acoustic-electric is well made, well finished, excellent pre-amp, neck is quick and straight, frets are perfect, good natural volume when you need it. Only issue are the tuners. Some slip, however they do hold tune. The amp isn't to bad. Not exactly at 15 watts. Has a paper cone 4" speaker. So don't push it to hard. The tone and clarity is amazing for $85. The build is spot on - no issues. I recommend. 👍 ... show more

Purchased this as a gift for a freinds child who was learning guitar. Turned out her "other" guitar was too big for her to play. She loved it.Not only did it look nice the instrument fitted her perfectly. Was able to reach frets comfortably and play it better than the other guitar. The guitar arrived in fantastic condition, it was well wrapped and protected. it plays nicely. I haven't tested out the electronic parts of it yet but without it, it still works great. I've read through the other reviews and many complained about it not staying tuned....that's normal for a new guitar...the strings need to be stretched a bit so u tune it then play a song or to and tune it again...its gonna take a few times. my only complaints is that the fabric case is a very tight fit and the straps broke quickly but I was able to sew them on better. also it doesn't come with batteries. but overall a great guitar and highly recommend ... show more

Needed a guitar for granddaughter. This far exceeds expectations. Real good sound. Built in tuner and a clip on one. Nice amp.Built in phaser. Sounds like electric guitar when phaser is on. The story is. I had gotten this from Walmart, the box was so light without opening it I returned the item thinking the heavy amp was missing. So now I get my Amazon version of it. And decided to open the darn thing. And what do you know. The tiny mini bitty amp was there. So small and light feels like a toy. Took a picture right next to my shoe yo show how tiny this thing is. I won’t know how it works till after Xmas. Keep you all posted ... show more

I paid 80 bucks for this kit. I know nothing about guitars or how to play. I have since watched over 100 youtube videos on how to setup cheaper guitars and what needs to be done to them, (usually anyway). The guitar looks really nice and except for a little over-spray on the binding around the body near the neck it seems like a really nice finish. 3 small pieces of wood fell out of the body hole when I took it out of the box. Looks like bracing wood. I don't know if something broke in the body or if these were just pieces of leftover wood. The guitar sounds ok. I cannot keep it in tune even after changing the strings to D'Adarrio's. I am going to replace the stock tuning pegs and see if that helps. The neck and frets seem good. The action at the 12th fret is above 6mm. Built in tuner and electronics seem good and the guitar has good all around sound. The amp is usable. Strings and strap are garbage. UPDATE 2/26/2024: I have had this guitar for almost a month. It is basically unplayable at least for a beginner. The action was not able to be adjusted. Trying to make a cord closer to the neck almost sliced my fingers open. I requested a return and was told I had to pay the shipping. UPS wanted 135.00 to ship it to California though their website says they have an address in New Jersey which is a heck of a lot closer to me in Wilmington, NC. I called them to speak with them but no one answered or called me back after I left a message. So now I have to eat the cost of this guitar making it an 80 dollar POS. I would not buy from Glarry unless they change their policy about returns. I am a very disappointed beginner. ... show more
