I purchased this dome for my sons birthday and him and all the kids love it. Very sturdy and very high weight limit. It has been good for a variety of ages and the kids love the hammock feature. Definitely need two people to assemble and pay close attention to the bar color placement the directions on what color goes where is a bit confusing at first since the instructions are in black and white. I am very impressed with the customer service I received for this dome, about two months after purchasing this it was damaged during a storm. I reached out to the company asking if it was possible to buy some replacement bars and they sent me a new dome at no additional charge. I just put this together today so will update in a couple weeks to see how it holds up. Daunting to put together but I did it by myself in a couple hours. Tools provided worked perfectly. Alot of bolting and rebolting when assembling each piece and it bends/leans a little and becomes awkward as you go up but when everything is tightened down at the end it is super sturdy. Great size, looks great. Canopy seems a little cheap so we will see how long it lasts. I love that this one has a square spot in the front to climb in and out of it easier and that the bolt covers look like rock climbing foot holds. Great design there! Arrived earlier than stated so got it set up for my sons early birthday present. Can't wait to show him! ... show more

MY kids love this dome. It was a bit smaller than I expected, but that is simply a user issue, because it is the dimensions it says it is. Even though it was not as big as I hoped, my kids love it. The swing is so easy to add or remove that they choose whether they want it without any help from me. Bought the 6’ dome for our backyard. Has taken me three hours or so to put together and I’ve wanted to take hammer to the thing a couple times. The instructions are wrong (the images show bars that don’t exist for my dome) and the text is incredibly confusing. I ended up using the picture off Amazon to figure it out. Oh-My-Lord, the assembly. My words of wisdom are 1-pay someone to assemble this. 2-If not, get a deep socket for a ratchet! Yes, get a ratchet. 3-Read ALL directions 1st and pay attention to colors. Page 1 shows 4 greens then a 2/2 green/yellow. NO NO NO. Next page has 3/1. The next page is correct colors. Had to Redo (sigh). But caught it early. (Yeah) 4-You need more than one person unless you are a Hindu God that has 10 hands. The bottom ring I did solo but no way I can hold 5 or 6 of those bad boys with the small bolts you have to mash them together on. 5-End with a 5 piece yellow. Trying to get the last one together on the 2nd (main) circle that has 6 pieces was horrible with the firmness of the structure locked in. I was ready to dump to the curb but undid a 5 piece and it worked out but not without a few *beeps*. I tell anyone that will listen that if your kids want or you get a wild hair to get a climbing dome, quote Nancy Reagan. “Just Say No.” Just go to the damn park. To say this is a massive understatement but I didn’t think this purchase through at all. Another thing I didn’t think of…gotta move this damn thing to mow. My apologies JV.
