  • Very cool and quiet. Better than expected at 1440p
Style: GV-N208SGAMING OC-8GC
First, I'm upgrading from a GTX760 (Gigabyte Windforce 4GB) so the jump in performance for me is huge. However I wasn't expecting the thermals and noise to be as low as they are even stressing it at max settings for Hitman 2/Divinity 2. For Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night, my 760 would make a little noise and sit at 75c... this 2080 card DOESN'T EVEN SPIN the fans at Ultra and sits at 53c. Maybe I've been out of the game for a couple years but that's so good. The 4 year warranty (after online registration) is a good plus, took about 5 mins to do. Amazon leave a receipt paper inside the package for the registration ‘proof’ you’ll need for Gigabyte (take a photo of it). With MSI Afterburner I managed to maintain boost under heavy load at 2100 MHZ and 17500 MHZ for the ram, the hottest i've seen so far is 66c with 50% fan speed. So yeah, this thing is a beast - 2080 Super is definitely worth the money as crazy as the prices are these days. The only con I can think of so far is not related to the hardware really, it's that the Gigabyte RGB Fusion software doesn't have an option to ignore Corsair RAM (but there's ways around it so it's not a big deal) If you are like me and are upgrading at least 2 generations and want a fast, cold and quiet card but not willing to blow 1200 on a Ti then 2080 Super is worth a look at as of August 2019. ... show more

  • Amazing card
Style: GV-N208SGAMING OC-8GC REV2.0
I’ve had this card for a little while now and it’s been great other than a few driver issues I’ve had and just some weird glitches I got everything fixed and it does great. Fans are loud at times but only under heavy load and if you get one of these and you don’t like sag buy a anti sag bracket because just within the first 2 days it was sagging bad but it’s more just looks. the rgb function is great too. ... show more

  • You won't notice the fan noise - Good Card
Style: GV-N208SGAMING OC-8GC REV2.0
TLDR: Fan noise not noticeable with any sound playing. No problems with using it. Can play COD:MW above 100FPS stable, with i9-9900K, at max settings. I have been using this GPU for about half a year now, and the entirety of my use, I have only ever heard the fans when I manually cranked them to 100% and kept them there. And I only ever heard them if I had no sounds playing, which I rarely do. My computer is about a foot away from my face and I can barely hear it when it's under full load. Paired with an i9-9900K, I can get well over 100FPS stable at 2K res on Call of Duty MW at maxed settings. I was able to OC it to the following: Core Clock: +74 (75 it crashes 3DMark, might just need adjusted more) Memory Clock: +1500 [MAX] (prob could go even higher.) Got a decent score of 12277 on 3DMark without OCing my 9900K. Case used: Phanteks P300 Tempered Glass After stress testing it, it never got above 75C with a closed case, and never got above 65C with an open case. I am very happy with the product. hasn't had any problems since I've installed it. ... show more

  • Good card
Style: GV-N208SGAMING OC-8GC REV2.0
I put this GPU in a build using a Gigabyte x570 Master and Ryzen 3950x, I picked it for it's minimal RGB, the fact it had triple fan cooler and was not overly thick and bulky. I probably would not have gone with this card except that it showed up on sale and I just said - what the heck. The rig it is in is pretty much just a daily driver so the card is overkill but so is the rest of the system for what I use it for - mainly internet forums and Youtube. The monitor I'm using it with is a 34 inch Asus Gsync 1440p/100Hz nothing special. I game on it occasionally but nothing crazy - Anno 1800, Subnautica, City Skylines etc. It does the job but honestly so did my 1080ti. I have a 5700XT in my dedicated game machine and honestly - It does just as good a job for me and was half the price this card was but I wanted to see what this RTX stuff was all about - what I learned is I wasn't missing much. At least in my case. ... show more

  • Absolute Beast. Raw performance with no noise.
Style: GV-N208SGAMING OC-8GC REV2.0
If I am doing nothing else to stress my cpu and my case fans are silent, and I give my gpu a full load. It still makes no sound and doesn't get above 62 degrees. And thats with a custom fan curve, max overclocked memory speed, and core speed. I have a significant overclock from stock and still this thing won't make sound or get hot. It runs games at full resolution beautifully in 1440p 155 Hz. I would absolutely recommend this card if it fits your budget. ... show more

  • Can be easily overclocked.
Style: GV-N208SGAMING OC-8GC REV2.0
The card is amazing as is. I don't need to overclock my card. But, I can and it's empowering to know Gigabyte has easy to use utilities for the video card and motherboard. My local computer guy told me my 1080ti was bad and the middle fan didn't work. It was the power supply and I now have a 1080ti graphics card and no use for it. ... show more
