Got this for Father's Day. Dad laughed when he opened it up. He DOES love his ice cream, but said this spoon is "too pretty to eat with" and instead is displaying it in his computer room. Seems strong and durable. Letters are engraved, not printed, so they will last. Good gift.

I bought the spoon as a Christmas gift and it arrived today. The engraving looks nice and bigger than I anticipated. I think my father will really like it. From what I can tell, it is a nice spoon to eat with but not so much scooping out icecream out of the main container (the spoon is not strong enough for that purpose and will likely bend).
