  • Great batteries, increased flight time by 15 to 20 percent.
These batteries fit in my Yuneec Q500 4K perfectly, and actually have increased my flight time by a bit. The only issue I had was when I tried to use my EV-PEAK charger, they did not fit, so I had to use the oem charger to charge them. The oem charger is not the best, so I will be working on a solution for the EV-PEAK, (they now have cables included in some newer models just for this reason, or buying a different charger. I highly recommend these batteries for any Q500 flyer. ... show more

  • More run time than my yuneec batteries
So I have a few batteries but am flying more and more day by day so I decided to give one of these batteries a try. They as you know are NOT cheap, and sometimes its a gamble when you order aftermarket items especially when it is an item you must rely on to keep your $1000 up in the air. In short, this battery works fantastic. I flew today and got a 7:37 and 8:26 flight out of it so right about 16 minutes and it was not dead I was just done flying. I hadn't used the battery until today so I can't speak for how long it will last me etc but I will say out of the box it is working great and I am VERY pleased with my purchase. I will most likely buy another one once one of my older batteries gives out. The GOod: 1. the battery is fairly priced 2. It has a great runtime 3. It went into my drone very easily with no force etc 4. It charged with no issues Other notes: Nothing negative or other to speak of jsut yet but I will update if needed. ... show more

  • Good Battery - Not sure I buy 7500 mAh
I fly a Yuneec Q500 4K drone. I have had the drone for about 3 years now and the original batteries are shot. After reading the reviews, I decided to take a chance on this battery. I made sure to give it a test flight as soon as possible after it arrived so that I could return it if needed. After my test flight, here is my assessment: 1. The battery was ever so slightly smaller than the OEM battery. This made it easier to put into the drone. 2. Charging went without issue. I do not use the charger that came with the drone, I have a HiTEC charger that I used, and I only ever balance charge the batteries. 3. The battery gave me a 19 minute flight. This is slightly better than the 15-17 minutes teh OEM battery gave me. Not the 20-30% better one might expect from the additional 2100 mAh advertised vs. the OEM battery. 4. After the 19 minute flight and recharging to storage voltage, the batter shows no signs of puffiness at all. My verdict... for what I consider to be performance equal to the OEM battery at about half the price, I'll be buying more. The only reason I give it 4 stars instead of 5 is because I don't really belive it is 7500 mAh ... show more

  • It fits and it works
I was skeptical at first, but glad I went on with the purchase. Works just like the original battery.

  • Not happy.
3895mAh reported from the smart charger. 7500mAh supposed capacity from "GiFi Power." Marked on the battery and in description. This is the SECOND time I bought a battery from them. The very first time I bought a battery from them it did not line up with the charger OR the drone as the 12v output connector on the battery was installed upside down... I thought I would give it another try and ordered a high capacity battery from them... The first time I charged the battery I waited until it was 100% charged, at which point the charger turns off and reports "Charge Complete 100%" on the display. I took it to work to show someone who is interested in buying one of these drones and the moment it took off, the drone controller reported "Battery low warning, return drone to ground immediately!" It was reporting 10 Volts... WE JUST TOOK OFF. less than 20 seconds into flight. I flew the drone for about 5 minutes at face level in case it fell onto the soft grass. Today I charged the battery I paid over 85$ for, and it went from 10% charge to 99% charge in just under 100 minutes... I looked at the mAh reporting from the battery, it says 3895 mAh on a battery that states 7500 mAh right on it... No bad cell reporting, cell balancing was okay... A friend of mine took the battery to his tester, and it says the same thing... 3895 mAh... Aprox 4 seconds after I took the included photos, the charger stopped and said the battery was charged fully. I am going to try it again in the drone... if the same result happens I will be sending this battery back. I do not trust batteries on Amazon for this drone anymore, as I am on a forum for these drones, and a LOT of people are having issues with non OEM batteries... And you can't get OEM ones any more since they discontinued this product. Why can't people just make a functional battery? they've already copied the design, the case, and the internal circuit for them, why not go all the way and use quality parts, especially if you are charging 85+$ for them.... when the OEM batteries were only 49.95. Just sayin'. ... show more

  • Issues charging.
Shipping was fine. Showed up new and as described. Been on the charger (stock charger for the unit) for almost 24 hours with the lights SOMEWHAT indicating that it’s balancing. I have my doubts due to the irregular blinking at this stage though. Update. Fault was in my charger. Double check your amperage or upgrade your charger. ... show more

  • Good value, extra flight time.
This GIGI Power 7500 mAh battery is an exact fit in the Yuneec Q500 4K Typhoon. The extended time is a bonus, but I bought this because I was tired of how few flights I was getting from the $125 Yuneec 5300 mAh stock batteries. I have 4 of those Yuneec branded batteries in the disposal box now, all with less than 2 dozen flights. While it is too early to know if it lasts as long as the Yuneec stock batteries, at least these are much less expensive and you get a little extra flight time. I have a dozen flights on this battery already and it doesn't appear to be losing any flight time. ... show more
