My daughter plays softball and I picked up this to help with speed/agility drills. They worked perfectly, are durable and come in a nice bag to store them in when we aren't using them. If you paly sports and you are working on footwork drills then these should be on your list!

Like others have mentioned, these GHB agility rings are great tools for any athlete or coach. They are straightforward in their assembly. They are versatile in their use. You can use them like an agility ladder, but you can vary the pattern of how you put them together. You can create hurdles out of them. Overall, that's the great part about these. Now, the issues: Given what these are made for, it is inevitable that these agility hexes will be stepped on. The creators would know that and you would have hoped that they would account for that. However, the plastic pieces are relatively easy to break, even during assembly. That said, as long as you / your athletes careful, these should last for a good while. Lastly, once you put them together, they're not going to fit back into the bag they came in. After they're assembled, you probably don't want to take them back part and re-assemble over and over. So after assembly, you'll need to use the velcro strap that comes along to hold them together when you fold the hexes back up for storage. The strap allows for easy transportation and storage and holds them together. ... show more

    • Good Product - Breaks Easily

Good overall product and arrived as shown. I am using it for my 8th grade football team workouts. We lose 2-4 connectors every workout. If the athlete never touches the ring with their foot, the product works fine. If the athlete lands on a connector, my experience shows they break. The good news is the rings are modular so you can use the left over pieces from the broken rings to replace future broken pieces on the other rings. The rings can be used for some exercises when broken but not all. I expect we will be down to a single ring by the time the season starts. But if someone is looking for a single season throw away training tool, this would work. ... show more

My daughter is crazy for volleyball and always training for the next big tournaments. She also coaches little league and wanted this set agility rings for training and for coaching. She likes that they are more than just rings, they can be set up as hurdles and different lay outs to switch up work outs. The set arrived in great condition, and have a handy bag for storage when not using. This comes in handy for travel too. They are plastic but a hard plastic of good quality. I am sure we will be ordering more soon. So much better than having her on her phone!!! I will buy again and recommend this ring set. ... show more

    • Fun agility rings, but not the most durable

These GHB hex agility rings are a more versatile variant of the typical agility ladder, but you do have to be careful when using them. The package includes all the individual parts to create 6 hexagons, 5 connector pieces, a carrying wrap, and a bag. Assembly of the hex rings is rather quick and easy. You can lay them down in a variety of patterns and then click them together with the connector pieces to stabilize your little agility course. You can also disassemble the rings and reconfigure them into tall hexes, or mini horses for jumping exercises. The versatility is much better than a traditional linear agility ladder. I thought it was fun and creative to come up with drills for kids uses the hexes. If you use them as hexes, it's best if you keep them assembled and then use the included velcro strap to cinch them together for storage and transport. Note, if you do that, they won't fit in the storage bag. In order to get them to fit into the storage bag you have to complete break down the hexes into their small, individual components. And that leads me to the only downside of the product - it's durability. The arms of the hexes are held together by typical plastic buckle pieces where you squeeze two plastic barbed wings to release the arm. It works just fine, but doing that over and over again can wear out the plastic. Additionally, if you have adults using the hex rings and they jump or step on them with a lot of force, well, they are stepping on relatively small plastic pieces. They can crack or break. If you have them on grass that has a little bit of give, I think the rings will hold up. If you use them on a basketball court or a tennis court, they could break easier. You just have to be careful with them. Overall, I still think these hex rings are fun and I like the versatility they offer. Mine have held up after using outside in the grass with kids under the age of 10. You just have to be cognizant that they are plastic and they could break under the right combination of conditions. ... show more
