  • Excellent Generator
Style: 3500-Watt + Open Frame Pattern Name: Generator
I own a Honda EU2000 which cost $1200 and love it but I wanted a 3500 and didnt want to spend $2000+. So I bought a Generac 3500iO last year, used it on my farm that does not have electric and it worked great. Strong generator. I put it in storage for a year in 2021, then came back to my farm in 2022. Filled it with fuel, and it started easily on the 2nd pull. I put about 10 hours on it this year and still works perfect and starts very easy. Love it just as much as my Honda so far. And its very quiet, super pleased with this product. Its easy to carry with the medal frame. Love it. I like the open frame so that the engine gets plenty of air and runs cool. Perfect balance and design and function. So I just ordered a 2nd so I can run parallel for more power when needed. Highly Recommended. 2 generators for twice the power and half the price. This is the only brand I could take a chance on other then Honda. Generac did a great job with this model. ... show more

  • Started right up super easy, runs my space heater
Style: 2500-Watt Pattern Name: Generator
I put oil and gas in it and went to pull the cord and ended up getting a bad grip on it so it kinda slipped out my hand but just that little half pull on the very first start up and this thing fires up and was running. I grabbed my 1800w space heater and it ran that no problem and then I grabbed a hair dryer and that was no problem. Efficiency mode is quiet. I've randomly started it a few times since just cause I almost can't believe how easy it is to start and it cranks right up. Costumer service is good too, I called them before purchasing to make sure it'd power my space heater and they told me it would and then I called back with another question about the Co sensor and they answered that too. I'm very pleased ... show more

  • Super quiet and more powerful than anticipated
Style: 3500-Watt + Electric Start + Cosense Pattern Name: Generator
So to begin, you can have a conversation at normal volume even while standing right next to this thing. It has no problem running my 13500 BTU AC on the camper. It's light enough to where one person can man handle it around. 10/10 so far. I'll update my review as time goes.

  • Unbelievable
Style: 3500-Watt + Electric Start Pattern Name: Generator
Was extremely simple to assemble and after putting it together and adding oil (provided) and gas it started first time with my electric starter. What's so unbelievable is it's so quiet for a generator of this size. The only thing I wish is it would come on a wheel frame as it is extremely heave for me. I purchased a garden wagon with collapsible sides and it fits perfectly so I can wheel it wherever I want... extremely pleased so would buy again! Oh...it runs my fridge... freezer and my lights all together...great generator ... show more

  • Basic power for outage
Style: 2500-Watt Pattern Name: Generator
Like: quiet, easy to start, reliable , I am suprised it ran 24hr/day in the TX heat w/o fail. Dislike: fuel cap, no propane inlet, service-ability I have use this generator 2 times for power outages. 3 days May 22 and 4 days July 8. I ran the generator 24hrs/day until the power came back. First oil change had metal particles in it second oil change did not. With only a refrigerator load the generator would run 11hrs/tank. With a refrigerator and 1/2 TON window AC the generator would run 8hrs/tank. Its a pain in the ass to service. There is no oil drain plug. You tip the unit over and let oil run out the dipstick plug. Messy. The valve cover cannot be removed through the service panel opening. I have not checked the valve lash. I will probably buy one with propane input. Propane is easier to store and the gas pumps don't work in regional power outage. ... show more

  • Do not buy/ poor quality
Style: 3500-Watt + Electric Start + Cosense Pattern Name: Generator
DO NOT BUY!!! Well, brand new, out of the box and the machine provides no power output. Generic should be ashamed of them selves. You take production overseas and this is what you end up with, port quality. I have previous version that I have had for 7 years. Runs like a champ, no issues and American made. To top it off, Generac told me I have to take it to a repair shop. So not only does it not run, I have to waste my time to travel around to get it repaired and they will not reimburse me. Quality- poor, reliability- poor, customer service- poor. ... show more

  • EXCELLENT generator
Style: 3500-Watt + Electric Start Pattern Name: Generator
First of all, know that this thing is a beast. It's built like a tank and weighs like one too. It's not easy for me to move around on my own, so I built a cart with big 10" wheels to roll it around. I just finished my first weekend using this generator for 4 days straight. Here's my observations: It's really quiet. I had several people asking me where I bought it and details about it's capability. There was a honda running closeby and both sounded about the same in terms of noise. There was another trailer setup about 75 feet away with a jobsite type generator - the noise coming from that thing drowned out mine where I had to check several times to ensure it was still running. It's powerful. It had more than enough power for my 9K btu Air Conditioner and anything else I ran off it (fans, coffee maker, battery charger, etc.) It was actually the keurig (1500 watts) in combination with the AC which drew the most power. It's economical. This thing ran for 20 hours before running out of gas. I had it in eco mode and didn't expect that kind of time on 2.5 gallons of gas. I used 89 octane, no ethanol fuel. The temps were warm in the day (85-ish and sunny) and cool at night (60-ish), so the AC was not using max wattage all the time. I am absolutely happy with my purchase and recommend this generator highly. ... show more

  • Works …. And quiet .. just wish it had wheels
Style: 3500-Watt + Electric Start + Cosense Pattern Name: Generator
Got for emergency reasons only as we live on gulf coast . Showed up 2 weeks before BERYL did . Ran great . Ran for 3 days straight without a break . Extremely quiet compared to my other generator. Oil drain I felt was kinda goofy but at least it does have an oil drain plug compared to others This easily powered a Toshiba 12,000btu portable AC and a Samsung double door refrigerator , and an oscillating fan , and StarlinK internet , and 75” tv and soundbar and few LED light bulbs and such . Max it ran was 1400 watts I went with generac mainly due to 3 year warranty and the vast locations of service centers . Wheels or a wheel kit woulda been nice as it weighs 100lbs but I’ll make something work out of a furniture dolly ... show more
