As someone with multiple Raspberry Pi's, this Raspberry Pi kit was the best kit that I've purchased so far. This was by far the most complete and straightforward kit that I've purchased. The best part of the kit was the case. The build quality of the case is exceptional and turns the pi into a small form factor pc. The case also has a micro-hdmi to hdmi adapter built in, making it more versatile as hdmi cables are easier to find than micro-hdmi cables. The case also comes with an overkill heatsink and fans, you can definitely use this as a server for 24/7 without it getting hot. The included charging brick and cable were nice to have as you don't have to dedicate another one of your chargers to the pi. While the included sd card and usb drive don't include an installation of an OS on it, I found that installing the OS on the USB was significantly faster than running the OS off the sd card. I plan on using this pi as a nice way to run my NAS as my 2GB pi was struggling. I'm extremely satisfied about my purchase, and would definitely recommend this to those who want a high quality Raspberry Pi kit. ... show more

I tuned mine into a reto game system. It was quick and easy and has not given me any issues. It does not seam to get hot or flake out.

    • Nice case and kit, but dead PSU out of the box.
The case and accessories included seem fine, but the power supply didn't work out of the box. I didn't have time to process a full replacement and the Pi was already assembled and configured and just wanted to get a replacement PSU from GeekPi. Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be any way to contact them. ... show more

This is a very nice bundle. The Raspberry Pi is top of the line, and unfortunately they are expensive right now. Hopefully prices will fall as supply improves. For me the question is whether the convenience of the bundle is worth the extra cost. In my case I already had everything in the bundle except the pi and a compatible case. The case sells separately for around $30, so in hindsight ordering just the parts I needed would have been cheaper, but for others having everything in one compact box arriving together might be worth going this route. This 4B 8GB Pi is like a rocket compared to the 2nd Gen Pi I already had. The case is very nice, though do be aware the fan and front USB ports won't function until you load the DeskPi software. I discovered that quickly when my mouse and keyboard would not work connected to the front ports. I love that this Pi has BT/Wi-Fi built in, along with a powerful, processor, great video and ample memory. What is not to like? :) Even though the included miroSD card is labelled DeskPi, it contains no software. If you insert it and plug your keyboard/mouse to the front port you will see what I've pictured. No worries, for the microSD card is a quality one (90MB/SEC read & 44MB/SEC write), and the Raspberry Pi Imager software is free and will quickly load whichever distribution you would like. I chose the first "recommended" selection which is the 32-bit desktop install for the included card, and it works great. The 64-bit OS will also work on this Pi, but may prove less compatible with other apps. RetroPie v4.8 also runs will on this; the "RPI 4/400" build is what you will want, though you will need a compatible game controller or two and some arcade ROMs to fully enjoy it. A spare PS2 or XBOX controller will work well. This is lots of fun, and a great learning experience for someone new to the RaspPi world. Definitely give it a try, and if you find this bundle too expensive, there are certainly ways to get started for less, but if you are shopping for a great bundle with a fully loaded Pi, then this is certainly one to consider. ... show more

This kit has everything you need to set up a pi right as a mini-pc. I wanted this to use as a server for data basing parameters in my micro camper and interacting with a few of the other modules. This was a little tricky with the explanation card but I got it working and have been very much enjoying it. Out of the box, it booted and worked well independently as a micro PC but with a little work, it can be so much more. The only downside to this is the steep price tag. Ever since the chip shortages, Pi’s have exploded in price and who knows if they will ever come back down. When you need one, you need it so it’s worth it! ... show more

Neither my USB keyboard nor two different USB mouses would function on any of the USB ports. Not able to contact support.
