The paddle is what is advertised. Purchasing it I knew it would be more paddle than I am a player, but I used a gift certificate, and thought I would grow into the paddle, which I am. I should have purchased the 3 15/16 grip. They offer two sizes, so I figured being a woman and having smaller hands, it would be fine going with the 3 5/8. I was wrong. I had a tennis grip overlay put on, and it helped, but I should have returned it (shown patience) for the larger one. Other than my own mistake, I love the paddle, performance and overall feel.
