I purchased this after trying out several Gearbox paddles with their program to try before you buy. This plays a lot different than a honeycomb core paddle, but that is also why it is so durable. It took some getting used too around the kitchen line, but like anything, you figure it out. I have seen many honeycomb paddles break right at the handles. This paddle will not break like that. Great paddle for singles players. Awesome control and at times insane spin generates off the face, every once in a while I wish it had more power but it’s a great paddle for someone who can generate that themselves and wants to paint the corners with accuracy!

Fantastic paddle as a pickleball professional, I used the Franklin Ben Johns edition. Transferring to this paddle has been excellent. Any off-centre hits are more forgiving than any honeycomb designed paddle I've used in the past.
