Unlike many color changing LED lightbulbs, these do not need to be connected to WiFi to work, and instead are operated by a small remote. The last thing I want in a lightbulb is one that doesn't work when the internet is down and one that requires frustrating troubleshooting whenever it has issues. However, the one negative thing about these lightbulbs being controlled by a remote is there is no way to individually control multiple bulbs in close proximity to each other. You can get around this by using the remote next to the lightbulb you want to control while pointing it away from all the other bulbs, but this is finicky and usually requires multiple attempts. For lightbulbs that are right next to each other (in the same fixture), there is no practical way of individually controlling them. So long story short, if you want to individually control multiple light bulbs in close proximity to each other, then I do actually recommend getting smart bulbs that connect to WiFi, but if this is not a requirement of yours, then these are the bulbs that I would recommend. ... show more

These bulbs are exactly what I wanted and I now have them in every room. I love that you can do cool, warm, or colored light, and change the brightness of them all. They really allow me to change the vibe of any room with the press of a button. I did have one issue, which is that the second set I ordered came with a different type of remote that did not allow me to adjust the brightness of the colored lights and didn't give as much control over the brightness of the warm and cool lights. But, I just returned them and re-purchased and got the "good" remote the second time around. ... show more

I was going to have an electrician put in another switch in a better location, but then I stumbled upon this item! Way cheaper than the electrician, and works great. the lights were really bright for the regular white/yellow setting but for the colors, it was dimmer. i like that you can dim and adjust the brightness but it’s not too helpful for the colored lights since those are already so dim. but for the price of the item, i would say it’s worth it if you don’t plan on using the colors for a bright vibe. ... show more

Just replace your bedroom light with this and you don't have to stand up fro your bed to turn off the light. The light bulb comes with an easy to use remote control. You can change brightness, color or simply turn on or off the light. I will get another one to install at the porch to help guest or delivery heroes to find the place.
