  • This oven works great
Style: Rapid Quartz Heating
It's funny because I saw a couple videos here. Almost passed this oven by. One person saying they burnt their fingers but their video also shows them pulling the tray out way more than anyone ever would lol. They literally pulled it until it fell out lol. Another one has an insanely loud fan. Perhaps they dropped it or its faulty. I got this a little over a month ago and it works really great. I've used it for all kinds of things and I've had no problems at all. It's easy to use. Temperature control & cook time work great. The convection fan seems to help everything cook very even & faster. It's quiet. Tray hasn't fallen out lol. It works really well. It looks really good too. I couldnt be happier with it. Seems like it will last a long time. Easy to clean too. Now I lucked out as I see it's $149 now. Just 6 weeks ago I got it for $99 on a reduced price run here. I'm very happy i grabbed it then. Very happy with the purchase. I'd recommend it to friends. UPDATE - Been using this oven a few months now. Working great ,very easy use & to clean. Temperatures can only be set in increments of tens. No fives. 400 degrees 410, 420, 430.. you get it. I don't mind. Hasn't been an issue for me. I thought it was worth mentioning. I'd still buy it again. Fits a full size frozen pizza . Cooks things evenly & even has a keep warm setting. ... show more

  • Excellent unit
Style: Rapid Quartz Heating
Works great. I toasted my bagel this morning. Perfectly even toast around the bagel. A bargain at $88.00 with the free shipping. I’m looking forward to using it for other food types.

  • Cooking food well but after 2 weeks of use, fan started to make very loud rough noise.
Style: Calrod Heating
I would rate this oven almost 5 stars if I wasn't having oven main fan issues. Pros: 1. Good capacity and footprint. Looks great. 2. Many options to cook. Cooks and warms well. 3. Easy to vary cooking options. 4. Price $90. 5. Convection fan is quiet and cooks food faster. When main fan is running right, the fan sounds slightly softer than a typical microwave fan. Cons: 1. After 2 weeks of daily use, the main fan began making loud/rough noise like it lacks lubrication or bad bearings. Shutting oven off and restarting seems to stop the loud/rough noise but this is most likely going to get worse over time. Noticed others having similar issue. Update: I flipped the oven on it's left side while it was making fan noise on warm to see if orientation would influence the noise. It did not so I flipped it back and eventually the fan noise reduced to the normal sound. Ever since, it has not produced the loud abnormal fan noise. It's been 4 days now without issues. Update: 4 weeks in and no fan noise issues...... ... show more

  • Great for some things
Style: Calrod Heating
Love the way this toasts lots of slices and any shape bread. I haven't had much luck baking some things. Always burns the bottom of biscuits but seems to do well with pizza...go figure.

  • Fan motor vibrates loudly
Style: Rapid Quartz Heating
A few other reviewers mentioned this and it started happening to me. I had the oven for 3 weeks and it was working fine until now all of a sudden when I turn on the oven sometimes, upon starting the fan motor gets super loud and vibrates violently. The oven is on a flat granite countertop. This is NOT an issue of the fan not being balanced or being dirty. If turn the oven off and on a couple times or unplug then plug the oven back in, the fan starts operating smoothly and quietly for a day or two and then acts up again. Something electronically is going wrong where there is an electrical imbalance in the current being applied to the fan motor. Another complaint is when doing convection baking, the heating elements are turning off and on way too quickly. I mean like literally 3 or 4 seconds on, 3 or 4 seconds off, and repeat on and on and on. It’s almost like watching a light show. I get that it is trying to maintain a temperature but never has an oven turned on and off so frequently before. Bottom line is I think GE had a few duds roll of the assembly line based on the reviews and I got one of them. This looks and feels like a great oven so I will return this one for a replacement in hopes that I don’t get one with defective electronics. UPDATE 1-13-22: Even the replacement is defective! It worked for about a week and then again the fan got very loud and started vibrating. If I turned the oven off and back on again, sometimes the fan would run normally for a few seconds but then gets super loud and starts vibrating again. And no, my oven is not on an uneven surface, and no, I’m not cooking something that splashing that could get onto the fan through the vent. I will be returning for a refund this time. I am very disappointed because I really liked this oven and hoped it would work. Don’t know how I got two bad units? I don’t have any electrical issues in my house either. Voltage around 123. No floating neutral or open ground. Everything on my end checks out. There is definitely a problem with these ovens. ... show more

  • Love it!
Style: Rapid Quartz Heating
I bought this to replace an old Kitchenaid Architect toaster oven. I have a corner space for it and could not use those large countertop ovens. This fits exactly in the space of my old one. I can even use the rack and pan from the old one. Only one rack and one pan come with this unit. The pan does not have a rack, so I am using my old pan with the rack. The pan that comes with it is aluminum with ridges which I guess are supposed to simulate a rack. I also chose this one because it looked like you could bake a whole chicken in it. So the first thing I did was to try that. I cooked a 4 lb. chicken in it, using convection. There was still space, so a larger chicken would fit. However, it took a long time, more than 1.5 hrs., even with convection. I usually bake a chicken in a cooking bag in the wall oven. I probably will go back to that because that only takes about 1 hr. But for everything else, I am very pleased. The measurements they give in the description are accurate. ... show more
