Im dumbfounded by this product. Why would any manufacturer think it was a goo idea to print “370 Lumens” directly onto a clear glass bulb? I ordered these for my dining room chandelier, and you can clearly see the words both during the day and at night when the lights are illuminated. These are definitely only for use when placed under a shade or behind frosted glass. Bizarre. ... show more

Bulbs fit fine. Work fine. So why one star? The words “360 LUMENS” are proudly displayed on the side of each and every bulb. I thought it was a sticker. Nope. It’s literally gold lettering and shows up clearly. So instead of a nice candelabra bulb displayed in our dining room, we have bulbs that proudly share information no one cares about with the world!! Not a big deal. Certainly not a big deal at all if your bulbs are hidden away under a globe or whatever you call those light bulb housings. But it’s a design flaw that is annoying enough for you to order different bulbs if the bulbs themselves are seen in your fixture. ... show more

While these fit my chandelier in the dining room fine and our Christmas window candles, and are becoming increasingly hard to find in stores, I do regret ordering these online. Ours arrived in a box labeled "contractor grade." Of the twelve, several were broken right out of the box. I kind of expected this in shipping and wasn't too worried, as the price still wasn't bad. Of the good ones left, a couple more burnt out nearly immediately after turning on. This has never been the case with other bulbs we have used. I assume this may have also been caused in shipping, but am not certain. I order A LOT from Amazon, but something as fragile as these small, older bulbs that depend on a thin piece of filament to be intact are probably something I'll search for in stores nearby in the future. ... show more

I used these for stained glass lamps. The first one out of the box did not work, and this problem continued. I did try them in different lamps which have been used without issue for a few years. The first bulb showed no damage when looked at in bright light- yet it simply did not work... Others did show they were damaged from the get-go. Those that did work are still working but hey!!! 4 out of 12 kaputz? Not a great bargain. They do light up well when working -do make sure you really need the tall candle flame size though. One of my lamps could've better used a shorter bulb. The 40 watt bulbs are ok must admit. They appeared to be reasonably well made. (I'm no expert) Hope this helps someone make a purchasing decision. ... show more

I bought the crystal clear bent tip 12-pack. I've used 4 of them so far and they work fine, no issues. The remainder are for backup / storage for later. One thing I found interesting is that each bulb comes in it's own individual box with a little paper-ish wrap inside them, I suppose this is because a 12-pack might be 'bulk'. These bulbs are great! At 120 volts they seem to last forever. They are slightly less bright at 120 volts, but if you can live with that, they are well worth the reasonable cost. I'm sold on these especially since my candelabra is about 14 feet above floor level. It saves me the hassle of having to replace them so often. They work great in my outside lights as well. These are very inexpensive compared to buying similar bulbs in at Lowe's or Home Depot. ... show more

The light fixture I have has these style bulbs, but the other bulbs are a little shorter. These actually make it hard to put the fixture cover back on. But it’s doable. They are more yellow than white but I didn’t see options for white light bulbs in this style anyway. One came in shattered but it’s kind of inevitable when purchasing something through shipping. Kind of bummed that I am one short but I’m pleased with what I got also. Just make sure your bulbs are the right length if it’s going inside of a cover. ... show more
