  • Should work good for its intended use.
I like everything about this tent. Build seems solid. Really spacious. And easy setup. I did not actually use the gazebo in an outdoor setting just inside the house as a sample setup. The gazebo is big and very roomy. Setup was fast as well. The only reason why I didn't keep it is because the actual size. My intent was to use it mainly as a tent because it's described as a tent/gazebo. While it should work great as a gazebo it seems too big as a tent for me. You can't help but notice on setup that it actually feels like you're setting up a gazebo. It's tall, bulky and kinda heavy to lug around. And the floor is not included so that would have to be purchased separately (probably the reason why it's main purpose is to be used as a gazebo). Also, although the setup was quick and easy it's a little more difficult because of the actual size of it. We also bought a coleman fast pitch tent coz we wanted to compare. The size obviuosly is not even close to this G6 gazelle and the build quality is slightly less but we wanted to test the setup time. The coleman tent setup was very fast if not faster than this gazelle G6. Setup was done in about 40 seconds from the bag. I think the main difference is that the size to setup the G6 is much bigger. I'm also gonna try the gazelle G4 hub tent since that is an actual tent and not a gazebo. Also I read that the floor detaches on the G4 to make it more convenient for cleaning. I'm sure the quality of the G4 will be just as good as the G6 but maybe the size and setup will make a difference to me. ... show more

  • Superior to Clam Quick-Set Pavilion Camper
I'm writing this review after owning this gazebo and the comparable Clam Quick-Set Pavilion Camper. The Clam is a good gazebo and the Gazelle is a great gazebo. The design on the Gazelle gazebo feels more carefully thought-through as though the designer is a personal user and puts attention into details. Both gazebos are heavy and when I carryied the Clam in its bag, one of the handles ripped off. The Gazelle bag is more durable, has lots more handles and straps on the bag, and has plenty of stitching that will prevent any handle from coming off. The Clam gazebo is not waterproof and after experiencing leaking in a rainstorm I had to purchase the optional rain fly for another $120. I think the rainfly should have been included instead of being an optional accessory. It is difficult and awkward to attach to the Clam. The Gazelle doesn't need a rainfly. I haven't yet tested it in rain but the manufacturer claims the gazebo has "a waterproof rating of 2000MM on a hydrostatic head test for the shell material and a 3000MM rating on the floors and footprints (1500MM is considered waterproof for fabrics)." The other reviews here confirm good rain protection. The Gazelle has an awning, which I really like. The Clam does not. One thing in the Clam's favor is that the extra poles that reinforce the entrance are integrated into the gazebo whereas in the Gazelle they are separate and have to be retrieved from the bag during setup. The tent stakes included with the Gazelle are some of the nicest I've seen. The floors are different. In the Clam the floor is a bathtub design that velcroes securely to the walls, making a pretty good seal against bugs and rain. The downside of this approach is that it takes more time to attach it. The Gazelle gazebo just sits on top of the floor, which has slightly larger dimensions, and the tent stakes go through grommits on each one. This design is faster to set up but not sealed against the intrusion of bugs and rainwater. I haven't had the Gazelle for very long and I don't know how much of a practical difference this will make. I purchased the Clam gazebo first because I saw more people on the internet talking about it but if I could do this again I would have skipped it and purchased the Gazelle first instead. I'm glad I have it now. ... show more

  • Very nice gazebo
I bought this for an outdoor shelter in an area with no shade. Easy to set up (watch mfg video). You must stake the whole thing down, even in low wind. The zippered window and door options allow you to configure it for max cooling or drying. Spring for the deluxe model that includes the rain fly.

  • Easy to set up, sturdy and convenient
This is a very well design tent. Setting it up is a matter of few minutes, and can be done by one person. Inside is very roomy. Each side has panels that you can open and allow ventilation. Well worth its price.

  • everything in one unit
It's heavy, that being said I did manage to put it up and take it down by myself. I shopped for these gazebos for several months. they come with so many add-ons that I couldn't decide which I wanted and needed. This one has it all, the side covers are built in, it has a back door, and the screens can zip open. It has zippers everywhere, which are all potential things to go wrong. The mesh screen seems like it will keep out the smallest of insects, but came with a few blemishes and seems to get a few more every time we put it up and down. It feels very sturdy when all put together. Going camping next week, will update when I get back. ... show more

  • The videos are spot on
Update. We are finally using our Gazelle at a campground in St Augustine. We love the extra large room outside our 25’ camper. We lifted it easily over the picnic table and still have tons of room. Love this model so much. And dog approved too. We bought this for camping and opted for the Deluxe model with the rain and privacy shades attached. Very convenient to just lower when rain is approaching rather than open them, align to tent etc when raining. Plus, we may use this for a tent instead of our smaller one. This gazebo is huge. I like that the gazebo is floor less. You can snake a n electric cord under and use any lighting, appliance etc. The assembly and take down videos are exact. We did it twice just to make sure. First, was twelve minutes because we didn’t know exactly how, second time was eight minutes. Love the oversized storage bag. Even a poorly wrapped gazebo fits inside. So happy with it. ... show more

  • Value for money and a good product
We are down in the desert in Yuma where it gets chilly at night in Nov Dec. We like to sit outside our RV at night enjoying some cocktails and the Gazebo works great with a propane fire pit to get out of the wind. It keeps us really warm on a low heat. Worth every penny we paid for it, Great quality and practical ... show more
