I have been looking for a versatile pop up shelter for a while and am the type who does his research, reads reviews and watches YouTube videos for real world experiences. On paper, the Gazelle Tents G6 gazebo looked great and the reviews were good. It's quite a bit of money to spend I was really excited to finally decide on, and get the Gazelle G6 gazebo. Set up was a breeze, just as advertised. Took me only a few minutes and it was up, take down similarly only took several minutes. I was finally able to take it camping on several trips, and the reviews are mixed. For the most part, the tent and panels offer good water proofing, wind resistance, and privacy. However, on the first trip several weeks ago, I bought this in December, it rained and the upper seams leaked quite a bit. Anything on place close to the tent wall get wet. Once I got home, I used some Gear Aid Seam Sealant in the hope of remedying it. I was still very happy overall. This past weekend's trip also encountered rain, much more than before. The gazebo worked great, kept us warm and mostly dry. The seam sealant mostly worked, though there were still areas that leaked a little bit, but it was acceptable. After getting home, I set it up to clean and air out it out. It was then that one of the pockets for the tent frame failed. (see pix) Very disappointed...I've literally only used this twice. I've been camping for over 30 years and use a Kelty tent that's over 20 years old and it hasn't failed me like this. May just go back to my Sportbrella setup, which hasn't failed me yet. Not sure if I would recommend this Gazebo, and I'm not sure if I'll even ask for a refund or fix. Or perhaps, it's meant for the casual camper/RV'er ... show more
