    • Great fit in my 98 Honda CRV LX AWD
Fit is great in my 1998 Honda CRV LX AWD. Took a little effort to wiggle on, I'd say perfect sizing. Seems well enough made if not quite up to OEM quality. Got this as my radiator had a slow leak and figured I'd replace the hoses as they were original and almost 20 years old. Looking at them closer I could have kept them - used a heat gun and they slid off nicely so no damage. If you are replacing both hoses you might want to do the thermostat too as it's at the back end of the upper hose and you have to pull that hose to get the housing open (2 bolts on top right and lower left). I used this thermostat this thermostat as it was a good value and included the gasket - at 180F it's 10F higher than OEM 170F which is fine by me. BTW if you are needing the radiator for a 1st gen CRV too the Denso 221-3209 Radiator fit my 98 CRV perfectly and works great. ... show more

Gates hose. Several brand names always come up as quality ........ Gates. Fit perfectly. Thank you. Bought as a package with the radiator which developed a crack. Seems to be be working well. Look up the various radiators available. Some fit better than others. I based my decision on others input. Had to make a small shim for the radiator to fit well (upper mounts.) Rayco. Best of luck, and by the way, Rayco radiator came well packaged and in great condition. Hope to have good luck, as this vehicle, 2000 Honda CR-V w/135K will be hanging around a while. ... show more

It fits a 1998 CR-V and was easy to install. I have only had it in place for a couple of weeks so no long term durability info.
