very easy to install hoses. silicon is a lot longer lasting than standard rubber hoses and more importantly, they are more pliable which makes installing them a breeze. i installed this on a G35, and the lengths were a bit off. i had to trim the upper radiator hose by about 1/3" to get it fit right without pinching. also the front upper bypass was molded in such a way that it wouldnt quite fit into the original hose guides across the front of the engine; it had a feeling of being just ever slightly too short. i dont think its a case of the G35 being different - the 350 and G35 have identical engines. lastly the reservoir hose is very floppy - i had to spend some time routing it in the engine bay in such a way that it wouldnt kink up. but ultimately they went on just fine and they've been working great ever since. docking a star for the not-quite-right bends and lengths. nothing super major, but for the cost of these, the hoses should be exact fit, especially the bypass. ... show more

I guess I should have read the reviews before I bought this kit. The hose that connects the two heads together is just not shaped correctly. It has a couple of extra bends in it that make it shorter that expected. The only way to get it on is to stretch it out and then you end up with two award 90 degree bends that are basically being straighten out. Good news if your still using your factory engine cover, you really wont see this. If you don't have this cover, you will see this and it doesn't look good. As I said in the title this kit looks great under the hood and the quality of the silicone is top notch. It's fairly easy for anyone with some basic mechanical skills to install it BUT...if you have an 06 350Z like I do the bypass hose that runs across the front of the engine does not fit like the OEM! I think the design was based on the non rev-up engines and it's a little short. Don't worry too much though, it will work. One other note here, the OEM hose clamps are a b#*ch to get on this same hose. Get some different ones before starting. ... show more
