I bought this because I have been to many seafood boils where there is a jet burner and it is so loud you cannot hold a conversation if you are standing nearby. Out of all the banjo burners I could find online, this had the highest PSI regulator hose, the most sturdy construction, four legs so I didn’t have to worry about tipping over, and an built in wind guard. I love that it can be used as both a gas cooker and a fire pit. I have only used it twice so far and both times I had the oxygen saturation on the highest setting to create a yellow flame. I placed a grill on top from my charcoal grill and was able to cook boudin and perfectly preheat chocolate on top of graham crackers while roasting marshmallows to make s’mores. I haven’t used it crawfish yet, but that is the next plan and when the regulator is turned way up it puts out a TON of heat and dispersed over a wide area and not a single point like a jet burner. I love it! The only drawback is that it’s big and doesn’t break down, so you’ll need a place to store it, plus it weighs close to 20 lbs. 11/3/2022 Update: Since writing this review I've used it as pot boiler for a couple crawfish boils. I didn't time it, but it felt like this brought an 80 gallon pot of water to a boil in half the time a jet burner would take. I received many compliments on both how quickly it heats and its quiet operation. Still loving it. The only thing I would like to see improved is the propane connection. I have to use a wrench to tighten the brass nut to the burner. It's a minor inconvenience, but something that could be hand-turned would make this perfect. ... show more

Updating my review since purchasing my Gas One. I have made brats, using a 17" skillet, taco soup using a 14-quart dutch oven, and burgers, hotdogs and chicken using a 14" griddle. There is nothing you can't use this for. Great stability, good fire. If like me and first time using a burner, food can cook quick so no need to burn at a high flame. Also, unsure why people are unable to keep the flame lit. I used it with a 10 mile an hour wind expecting the flame to go out. The guards around the burner allowed the flame to remain lit. This is the most functional cooking tool I will ever own. It's mobile and allows me to cook for a large group of friends and family. This cooker is very sturdy and puts out a very hot blue flame. The burner is wide and produces lots of flame. Pot size comes to play because of this. Opening right above burner is 9 3/4” apart from the surface your pot can sit on. Typical Bass Pro pot is almost to small in diameter to sit on top. It will work though. I’ve cooked a few times with it. Just make sure it’s centered on the burner. I’ve purchased a larger diameter pot because of this. Also a 53 quart or 62 quart pot fits perfectly on this burner for any crab or shrimp boil. Or deep fried Turkey. Recommended to friends and one of them purchased one and loves it. Only thing to remember is the size of pot you may need. A 14” diameter pot on the bottom is what I would recommend. Giving you at least 2 inches of surface for it to sit on each of the brackets. ... show more

The 5350 burner is a well built stable unit that gives me the blowtorch type flame I wanted to boil large pots of water quickly to cook crab. Out of the box the burner was not centered in the frame and bent to one side. I removed the burner and straightened the burner brackets and reinstalled the burner. It was not hard to do. This issue did not happen in transport and is likely due to poor quality control where it was assembled. Overall I like it and it was worth the extra time to make it right. ... show more

Once in a while, we have a big party at home and love to cook outside! This burner cooker is perfect for big pots. It's powerful, easy to set up, easy to put back into the box and store. We only used it a couple of times, but so far, everything's worked just as expected.
