I used it with a table top gas grill and so far so good.

Perfect addition to the X200. I would say a "must have" as it negates the need for the "green bottles".

Putting my portable grill on a large LP tank will save me money and aggravation over the small bottles. I can't prove it, but I think the bottles leak as soon as they are connected to the grill. I will connect a full bottle to use the grill and the next time I go out there may be hardly enough to coo
k the next meal. With a tank you can manually shut the gas off.

Char-Broil 4 foot Hose and Adapter is a KEY BUY!
This Char-Broil 4 foot Hose and Adapter ... is a key buy! After reading what seemed like 20 negative responses about another adapter that is listed on Amazon and there were several returns due to leaking hoses. Needlessly to say I was very caution about purchasing a hose. After reading the comments o
n this hose, I purchased this one. No buyers remorse here! I have a Coleman tailgating grill and I wanted to take it camping and retire my old stove and not have to use the 16 oz little tanks that cook about 4 times and you have to discard them, or so it seems.. I wanted to convert this grill to a 20 lb propane tank and it worked great. In fact, I like it so much that I bought a new grill five star grill on Amazon, the Cuisinart CGG-200 All-Foods 12,000-BTU Portable Outdoor Tabletop Propane Gas Grill table top grill that is equally amazing as well. In fact,it is probably the best grill I have ever purchased. Excellent Value. This hose connected to both without any issues. No leaking, no pressure loss and as for those people with squirrel issues (squirrels eating their hoses) well lets just say that they probably have more issues than just squirrels. This hose coupled with my Cuisinart Grill has made me one happy weekend warrior. Thank you Amazon....and why go anywhere else?

Works Well and Appears Well Made, Excellent Value
I bought this hose and adapter for my Weber Performer Platinum Charcoal Grill. The grill uses a small disposable propane tank to supply the gas charcoal starter (Grill-N-Go Gas Ignition System). While the small gas propane tank lasts a good while, I don't like having to dispose of it and buy new ones
each time I need more lpg. I use the grill often, and the gas starter only has to operate for about 5 minutes to get the charcoal started. I already had a regular sized refillable lpg tank for a gas grill, but the connection on it is different than on the small lpg tank. So, I decided to get this hose adapter so that I could use a refillable lpg tank. I use this adapter hose to connect the charcoal grill to a regular sized refillable lpg tank and it works great. It is long enough to set safely away from the hot grill. It also means I no longer have to purchase disposable small lpg tanks. I recommend this product, especially considering how low cost it is.

Foiling the Squirrels! Used with my Weber Q
Reading all the reviews that warned of squirrel bites on their hoses (ow! that hurts!), I came up with this solution: I wrapped the hose in Scotch 3311 Aluminum Foil Tape, 2" x 10 yd, 3.6 mL, Silver . It was easy to do. We have a lot of squirrels and so far it's survived for two weeks, unbitten. Mayb
e it wouldn't have been bitten anyway: I couldn't tell from other reviews if Seattle squirrels are inclined to bite hoses, and the fellow who filled my propane tank said he'd never heard of the problem here. Anyway, it's working so far, and I'll try to remember to add a postscript next year to say if my hose has remained bite-free. If it gets bit, I'll post that right away. BTW, the hose works very well with my Weber Q 120 and 20-pound U-Haul propane tank. Update, December 8, 2014: Been a zillion squirrels in our yard, and still no squirrel bites.

Simple and cheap. Testing shows it works, time will tell if it does.
I just bought this to use while camping instead of the steel tanks you toss all the time. I did a few quick tests and it did the job. Maybe 6 foot would have been a better idea but it will reach from the top of the tank to a picnic table for camping so overall its fine. I did note an O-Ring inside th
e hole the nozzle goes in to and it was moving freely inside the hole? I pulled it back up to the top but noted it could turn a bit sideways so time will tell if this is an issue.
