  • I AM THRILLED
With over a 3 minute wait for hot water from the other side of my house, I was wasting 100's of gallons every week. Or I would just do without hot water, if I wanted to rinse a pot or something quick. BUT NOT ANYMORE!! This easy-to-install unit is beautiful. I find myself turning on the hot water just to feel the immediate 120 degree water. Yes, I installed this myself into the HOT WATER LINE. Now I get IMMEDIATE HOT WATER. And I can adjust the temperature hotter or cooler, whichever I prefer at the time. I will offset the low initial cost in about a month. Oh and BTW, I would never recommend NOT following directions, BUT I just sat the unit on the cabinet floor, under the sink. I didn't mount it to the wall. EASY INSTALL. NO PROBLEMS. From now and forever, nothing but hot water and profit. My only complaint is that the included directions are pretty skimpy and actually incorrect at one point. I actually learned more on this site. But still no problems. ... show more

  • Don’t buy
Style: 18 L
I purchased this on June 10th and it is now August 2nd and it quit working. It also gets way too hot on the lowest setting which by the way is Celsius.

  • Small and convenience
This 15 L water heater only takes up about 16“ x 16“ and it does not heat a whole lot of water at one time but it does heat it quickly and it is very handy especially when you are Boondocking in your RV. It does use a decent amount of wattage, but it can be powered by an inverter That is rated for 2000 W with a 4000 W peak and depending on how you’re set up you probably don’t need to heat up water on a consistent basis. If you do this is not the water heater for you. This water heater is meant for quick showers or doing the dishes and maybe a load of laundry and it will need to heat up another 15 L of water. Because it is very fast at heating up the water and it’s not a whole lot of water to heat up. You can get away with doing a lot with it. ... show more

  • Simple way to add hot water to a sink.
I was looking to add hot water to a bunkhouse sink with as little effort as possible, and this looked like a simple option, needing only a few connectors and a regular household outlet rather than additional wiring. Prior to installing this unit I did some testing: After being filled (2.5 G.) with 55 degree F water and set on high, the unit took about 30 minutes to get to 168 F (measured with a temp probe), at which point it stopped heating. This was as described. Then when turned off, the water temp only dropped 17 degrees (to 151) after 3 hours, so it does appear to be pretty-well insulated. The installation is easy and the instructions a bit cryptic but okay - it is working and hot water in the sink is being appreciated. It is stated to be a source of "instant" hot water ... for small sinks like ours that get light use, it should do that. As the tank took 30 minutes to heat a full fill, I expect it won't meet that objective if more than a couple gallons were being used within a half hour. The biggest issue for us is the building it is installed in only gets seasonal use, and it will need to be drained whenever freezing is a possibility. The directions refer to doing so, but it is not set up to be drained easily. What I think I will do is install a shut-off valve and inlet at the start of the line that feeds it, and then be able to use an air compressor to blow the tank/line out through that. If this was easy (like a drain valve on the bottom of the unit) I'd do this 3-4 times/year, but as it will be more involved, we will not use it late fall/early spring (in MN). Seems like an efficient, inexpensive way to provide a modest amount of hot water easily. ... show more

  • Heated, but bad reheat cycle. Not F dsp, just C
Reheat from cool water fill is 20-30 deg. less. (meaning it won't turn on again until the tank is much cooler). Temp display is centigrade only.

  • Simple to control and use
This mini tank water heater only has one control and you use the knob on the front to change the hot water temperature. It is very intuitive to use and the number display to the right of the knob also shows you what temperature the water is. It was simple enough to install and plugs right into a standard outlet. ... show more

  • **WARNING** THIS HAS NON-STANDARD METRIC THREADS
This was designed for use outside of the USA. The hot and cold pipes on top of the water heater have non-standard METRIC threads. We use standard sizes in the USA. You must buy an adaptor if you don't want it to leak. You can find them on Amazon if you search for "1/2 G (BSP) to 1/2 NPT." If you look closely, you can see that people use standard (USA) fittings and add a lot of tape. If you do that, the connections will be cross-threaded and you risk a leak! The seller confirmed this information. I only wish they would post this information on Amazon. ... show more
