Enter your arrow speed, and automatically get a pin stack out to your bow’s maximum distance. The dynamic level feature delivers leveling information right next to the pin, so you don’t have to shift focus to see if your shot is level. Quick detach makes it easy to remove the sight for travel, then reattach it to its original position in seconds. This sight also features second-axis adjustment, a silent trigger for full- draw or at-rest ranging, customizable arrow profiles and dual-color LEDs. To help track your game or arrows, the Laser Locate™ waypoint projection feature works with compatible Garmin devices (sold separately) to show you exactly where the target was located when the shot or range was taken.     • Wonderful for hunting - I'm not sure about target archery

First of all - it's noticeably heavier than a normal sight. No question about that. Holding up a bow, especially over dozens of shots, will cause your muscles to tire. Having a heavier sight is going to have a negative impact on your accuracy, unless you have excellent strength and endurance. This is not entirely different to adding weight for the sake of stabilizing though. Secondly - it takes some effort to calibrate, but more importantly, you do need to have very consistent form to get the reticle to line up, which does also impact your accuracy. This isn't terribly difficult to do, after a month or two of practicing archery, you should be able to do this. Third issue - where you point the reticle to sight the target is not the same spot that the pin to shoot it at will be. So, if your shooting something far away, you might "point" your sight high up in your target, and then move your bow up to reach the pin for the target which is towards the bottom the sight. This is a bit of extra effort and time, but with practice it is only a second or so. So, why would you want to buy this? It's heavy, and it's a bit of extra work... so what's the upside? Basically it's just that the rangefinder is built into your sight, and it accounts for distance and angle for you automatically. It also (optionally) shows your level in-line (next to) your pin. When you're ranging the target, you get one single pin to shoot at which is super clean. There isn't a whole lot of value here in my opinion, outside of hunting. If you're shooting stationary targets (even 3d targets), you're probably better off with a good rangefinder and a normal adjustable sight. For hunting, I do believe it's worth the cost. Even if the heaviness of the sight affects your accuracy - which I don't believe is true at all for your first dozen shots (and you should only need 1 for hunting), the improvement in accuracy of having a *perfect* pin is more important than that. Often times with hunting you may draw your bow after the animal is ranged, for the animal to move after you've drawn. You don't want to repeat the whole process and risk spooking the animal, so you're going to start guessing how far it moved and in what direction - this sight takes out the guess work. For hunting, the heaviness also is offset a bit by the convenience of not carrying around a separate rangefinder. I don't personally mind the extra weight, but it's certainly noticeable when practicing with 100 arrows. ... show more

The fast laser range find itself is worth its extra weight. Quickly range and line up pin and loose. Set up takes a little time. Slight learning curve. But once you have it set up it is like a cheat code for ranging and having a direct pin. I have shot it out to 70 yards with no issues holding zero and correctly pinning to range. The blue arrow in the picture is my arrow at 64 yards. The grouping is 51 yards. I am going to partner it up with a gps handheld or watch and try to see how good the xero locations work from the laser ranging finder. Pros When comparing it to handheld laser range finders it distances to target exactly the same. Single pin for ranged target (can do a pin stack if you want) Flashing pins in opposite color of pin to tell you if you are canting the bow. Micro adjustability for a good zero.     • Product Dead on Arrival, Battery Tabs Missing in Battery Compartment????

Kinda Pissed, Fiddle with this all night to realize battery tabs in battery compartment are missing and the unit will not turn on at all? It also appears this was an open boxed item, the packaging looked like it was previously opened and screws were loose in the box. Buyer Beware!

If you hunt in areas where this is legal (better check), this is a game changer. I have taken bears, deer, and African game with this sight, and I can tell you that white it makes the range finding very easy, it takes the guesswork out and ensures a more ethical shot. I know there is debate in that statement, but it’s a fact. 42 vs. 49 .yards can make a difference and this sight helps (a lot). It can be a bit tough to set up, but once you focus and know what you are doing, it goes well. When hunting in Africa, this sight allows me to change arrow profiles with the push of a button, so that I can carry an 817 grain arrow and a 405 grain arrow in the same quiver, for either Cape Buffalo or an Impala. ... show more

In WA state these aren’t legal (at least at the time of this review). I ended up having to buy a replacement for this through another site because my Amazon order got lost but figured I’d review anyway. Sighting it in is a PITA. It takes ages and if you don’t get it right immediately you may well get tired. We tried to do it when it was windy (dumb but we were going hunting the next day) and by the time we had it done he was exhausted. The settings can be a pain while shooting but you just have to adjust to it. ... show more

Once it’s set up it’s great. I had my guy at the archery shop set it up. It’s just a push of the button and then it drop you a pin and that’s it. No fumbling around with the rangefinder
