  • Great watch
Style: Pro Ballistics
I absolutely love my Garmin Tactix 7 Pro Ballistic Solar Watch. It's a substantial upgrade with its DLC coated titanium case and enhanced sensor array. The 1.4-inch touchscreen, though not as bright as some rivals, offers intuitive navigation. One standout feature is its solar charging capability, extending the battery life impressively. It supports over 30 sports activities, boasts precise GPS tracking, and includes a handy ballistic calculator. I'm particularly fond of the customizable watch faces, allowing me to switch styles based on my activity or mood. While it's packed with features and customizable options, getting the hang of all its functionalities requires a bit of time. This watch is an excellent choice for anyone looking for a durable and versatile timepiece for outdoor and tactical use. ... show more

  • Best on the Market
Style: Pro
Does everything I have ever wanted a watch to do, I came from a pebble and this is like the modern equivalent of the best version of a pebble. I can get nearly a month of batter without too much solar exposure (winter in the north). I thought the flashlight was kind of a dumb addition but it's easily the most used thing on this watch for me somehow, works pretty decent in dense woods at night using the green setting I've gotten myself out with only that. GPS capability has saved me on multiple occasions and is very accurate. If you're considering it, just do it. ... show more

  • Didnt know how I did it without it…
Style: Pro Ballistics
Absolutely insane that Ive gone so long without one of these. An absolutly awesome piece of equipment, does absolutely everything you can think of and more. Monitors and tells me my sleep, tracks my runs, tells me how to recover, strength training, and if you want this model can store ballistic profiles and DOPE. My DOPE was good for the match I just went to, recommend the Range Card setting, easy to cycle through for different ranges rather than the first screen you can use. Compared to my Kestrel/verified DOPE it was only off 0.1mils at 800+ yards. Again. This thing is amazing, worth every penny, battery life is also wild. The picture is me tracking and essentially looking at how my heart rate was doing during the stage at the shooting match. Device allows me to see when I need to lower my heartrate, focus on breathing, while also checking my dope. ... show more

  • Why are Garmin watches so glitchy?
Style: Standard
If the firmware/software was more stable and reliable, this would be the perfect watch. However, it crashes sometimes when navigating or doing other things. Despite this, it would be hard to find a better watch with these features, etc. It's accurate with GPS tracking. I enjoy the sleep tracking feature, which helps me with my health. The sapphire glass is amazingly tough and durable. The metal bezel definitely wears out faster than the glass. It's big and bulky, so hopefully, you have decently large arms/wrists. I like that it's possible to purchase the ballistics software on the standard model after the fact if you want to add it later. Honestly, the stock watch faces are great, and with the Tactix, I didn't find a need to download any 3rd party watch faces from the IQ store. Expensive, but it's nice! Garmin, get rid of the bugs! ... show more

  • Perfect watch
Style: Pro
This is an amazing watch. I traded in my Garmin epix to get this and do not regret it one bit. Super rugged and well built with all the great heath feature and apps you need when it comes to fitness tracking. The tactical feature are great and easy to use. Looks great. I only dislike the bands. The nylon band is too tough, probably just needs to be broken in, but it’s either too tight or too loose. The silicone band is the same thing but irritates my skin. I ended up getting a rugged watch band from Amazon and it works perfectly since it can be tighter perfectly. 10/10 would recommend. ... show more

  • Display is too dim
Style: Pro
The watch and features are awesome. Unfortunately, I didn't keep it long. The display just wasn't bright enough for me, even on 100% display brightness setting. They say it has maybe to do with the solar/Sapphire glass, but I don't know. It has the gesture movement feature where it brightens up when you look at it. But not being bright, it didn't help. You basically have a dark screen on your wrist. So if you're looking for a watch that POPS! with a bright, cool looking technical display, this isn't the watch. Other than that, it's a bad ass piece of equipment. ... show more

  • Screen barely visible on 100% backlight
Style: Pro Ballistics
Big disappointment with screen display. Barely visible on 100% backlight. I understand it is military type of device and too bright is not recommended but it is nothing like on the photos in advertisements. Load of cash wasted. Why they don’t warn people before buying, they just put fake photos.
