I like to use different brands in order to eliminate interference between units when both are in use. I didn't nee a high quality mapping unit as that function is in the console unit. I love this fish finder. The split screen is great. Not so hard you can’t understand how to use, but height tech enough to do everything I need in a fish finder. Love the depth alarms if in shallow water. This is a good fish finder.
