I purchased this as a replacement for a deceased bow sonar unit. It fit my needs perfectly as I have a competing brand in the console. I like to use different brands in order to eliminate interference between units when both are in use. I didn't nee a high quality mapping unit as that function is in the console unit. This allowed me to get the biggest screen for the money. In that regard it does not disappoint. The screen is clear and bright and the sonar image is accurate. Installation is easy. I love this fish finder. The split screen is great. Not so hard you can’t understand how to use, but height tech enough to do everything I need in a fish finder. Love the depth alarms if in shallow water. This is a good fish finder.
