I ran across this item while shopping for hanger dust covers and was curious about how it would function. I bought two and was immediately happy with them after installing in our closet. We live in a dusty area and I had taken to laying beach towels over the top of my hanging clothes to keep the dust off, but it wasn’t a great fix and definitely not see through. However, these clothing covers enclose all sides of the hanging clothes and is super easy to just reach in and take whatever I want to get out. I really like the look of the clear plastic, trimmed with the tan fabric. The expandability to accommodate different size closets is a smart function. Very easy to install and use. I think these are better than individual hanger covers because it also keeps the clothes rod dust free and doesn’t add to the bulk of the clothes hanging on the rod. I will start off by saying that I ordered the clear but received the one with the material on the edge. While I don't mind initially, we'll see if it causes any issues with finding pieces. Also, my clothes bar sits in a support clamp in the middle of my closet that won't allow for overlapping. Since my dust issue isn't heavy I don't mind and I was able to make it happen slightly so it's fine. Easy-peasy installation, that hardest thing was pulling it down straight behind the clothes but after doing the first one I found out to do that easily as well. The directions couldn't be simpler... as long as you follow them. I can see how trying to install without checking them first might lead to confusion or doing it incorrectly. Overall I'm pleased. As I said we'll see if having the material on the edge as opposed to the clear edge makes a difference. ... show more

This is a very nice dust cover to protect clothing hanging in closets. Sturdy and nice to look at but you will need a rod to hang it on. There are instructions, when ordering, to check whether or not this will work for your closet rod.
