I bought this rake and one other here on Amazon... I have a new construction home and am surrounded by 140-170ft pines as well as had about 42 taken down to build my home. My pine straw has pine straw and if you're familiar with pines, they don't stop producing no matter what time of year it is. This rake can take a beating and doesn't tear your hands up (major plus!) nor does the pine straw or leaves get stuck on it like a lot of rakes. It has been a champ in also catching sticks and bits of roots in the yard as well. I will be pulling up roots and throwing them away for years and years to come.... I'm so glad I have this rake to help! I recently graded my yard for a 2nd time and poured concrete for a fairly large parking pad, front and rear sidewalks. This rake was there every step of the way! The guy who delivered my concrete got out to help (which is almost unheard of) and asked where I had gotten my rakes from- "DUDE, FREAKIN AMAZON!!!!"
