I installed these on the 3 openings of my patio using mounted roller tracks because the patio is stucco so the supplied adhesive velcro strips are not going to stay up there. The tracks also make storage behind a pillar easier. The screen is pretty light and woven so that MOST bugs can’t get through. Little tiny gnats will still pass of course. The material is quiet frail. I already gouged a small hole accidentally. A few pieces of patching included would be nice. The weights at the bottom are a joke. The magnetic closure works as advertised. If this lasts 2-3 years it be good. Edit: as expected it doesn’t do well in minor wind. The track system I got has hook attachments and clamps as well to hang items from. I used some of the clamps, tied them to bricks and clamped them to the bottom of the screen to hold in place. Good against minor wind but I’d expect a strong wind to rip the screens border material out. ... show more

After looking at the pricing for a Lifestyle screen system (pull down screen system with a separate rail track) I decided this pick for life screen would fit the bill. Why pay $1,500 more when I just needed something for the garage for summertime. I run a home gym in the garage and wanted to find ways to keep the flies out. Having used it for 30 days I can testify I have rarely seen flies get in the garage and house now. Purchased a 16x7' mesh and it seems to have some pretty hefty craftsmanship. It can take 30 minutes to install if you are fast, so it's pretty simple. Made a mistake during the install and mounted the sticky velcro to the beam closest to the garage. After I learned through experience, wind will blow the screen magnets, causing the opening magnets to get stuck on the (metal) garage door easily. So, I tore it down and re-did it on the outermost beams of the garage, which works better. Upon removing the sticky velcro, I saw it was so strong that it tore off some of the paint on the vinyl beam, I was not sure if it was going to work. So far after close to 30 days, the screen is still standing. I put the supplied tacks on the sides and left the top without. So far pretty good. If I had to wish for a version 2 of the product, I would hope for three openings than just one. Since you can only exit towards the middle, it kind of gets hard to get outside with a bike or holding something if you have a car parked on one side of the garage, so three openings sounds adequate. Have had the 8X16 screen up for over a year and love it since it created another living space. Easy install and it closes flawlessly. The top strand of Velco did stars peeling away from the garage frame, but i left the screen up through all kinds of weather for over a year so I can't and won't complain. Not being a fan of big box hardware stores, I contacted the seller (PICKFORLIFE) hoping to replace it. They replied to my e-mail the next day and after providing my order info, they sent me a set of replacement Velcro without hesitation or any charge. Install was not too hard. I applied the Velcro strips to the door frame without the tacks. Wondering why they give you brass tacks when it’s black Velcro and black screen. Directions are very generic and not much help. Really not hard to install but there were cut rubber tube pieces in the box that they don’t explain what to do with.
