This kit is very easy to use! I love the transparent gel colors and all the extra tools this kit comes with. A bonus feature not mentioned in the description is that the curing lamp takes the guess work out of curing time. Simply place your finger under the lamp and it cuts off when 60 seconds have passed (which is standard time for gel base, top, and colors)! Would definitely recommend! ... show more

I find that this does last IF you do proper nail prep (not included in the kit) with a primer and dehydrator. This was my first intro to gel and would be great for someone looking to get started without 100 colors and more quality polish. The light is obviously small which isn’t great for long term use but if you’re traveling or dont know if you’ll be doing gel all the time its a nice option if you’re starting from scratch. ... show more

Lamp is TINY. You need to take 5x more times to put finger in 1 by 1 compared to a full sized one. I dried for over 5 minutes but it's still not dry. Definitely returning.

I followed the instructions exactly, but the polished pealed off my nails within 24 - 48 hours. I figured it would not last as long as stated it would, but thought it would last longer than 24 hours. Tried three times, same results each time. I was going to return it until I saw I would possibly get charged a restocking fee, partial use fee, etc. Not worth the hassle. I purchased this because I wanted to start doing my nails at home and save money and normal polish doesn’t last super long. I tried this for the first time and I purchased a seperate lamp because the one that came in the package was so tiny and probably would have had to do 1 finger at a time. The base coat was good, it didn’t cure it was still sticky and I let it sit under the lamp for about 2 minutes. Then I did two coats of the gel and eat coat I let it sit under the lamp for 2 minutes, and finally the top coat cured but I did leave it under the lamp for an extra 2 minutes because even when I get my nails done, they usually have me put my hand in the uv lamp for 2 minutes at least. Anyways, I did it today and I’m hopeful they last and help my nails grow strong since I had press ons before and messed my nails up from ripping them off! ... show more
