I'd say it's an eye and nose thing. I like them because they provide some safety and protection from sun, and I can see close up with them. I wish they fit better, but that is an eye and nose dimension thing. They might be a better fit on most other people. For me, the bifocal drops too low and I have to push them up to really see well up close. These are convenient when you want to wear safety glasses, but need some close-up magnification. I wear them when spray painting, woodworking, using power tools & gardening. They keep me from damaging more expensive glasses. They protect my eyes better than my regular glasses, but I still have an area if I need to read or see smaller objects. I liked getting multiple pairs & keep one set at the workbench, another with my gardening tools, another in the truck & a backup pair!
