I’m writing about the “Carbon Fiber Black” color scheme. This is a great desk for working from home, especially as a secondary desk. We have a bigger option for our “office”, but needed another and wanted one that took up less space. This L shaped desk fits our needs perfectly and has a great form factor. There’s no wasted space or frills. Everything is streamlined. The bottom shelves are great for notebooks or a small organizing cabinet. The pictures indicate a desktop tower can fit there, but I wouldn’t know as I use a laptop. There’s a raised ledge to put your monitor. I use a 34 inch curved monitor on a stand, and it’s the perfect height on that ledge. I’m at my desk a lot, and this ledge is great for my posture. There’s a soft pouch like organizer that you hang from the side. Great for little odds and ends that would normally clutter your desk. Think headphones, remote, cell, etc. The really nice feature is the group of outlets in the corner of the table. One power cord provides power for two regular outlets, one USB C and one USB A. That’s everything you could need! I plug my laptop and monitor into the two outlets and my phone into the usb C. Assembly was fine. Dealing with big pieces is always going to be a little annoying, but it wasn’t terrible. Everything feels sturdy and should last years. Oh, I can’t believe I forgot to mention the LED light. I guess that’s what makes it a “gaming” desk, but even at my age I love those kinds of lights. I particularly like it when I’m working in the evening and don’t want big lights on. It’s a great way to still see my keyboard and provide a nice ambient light. My star ratings explained: 5 stars = Exceptional. I recommend to friends. 4 stars = Exceeded expectations. 3 stars = Met expectations. The only complaint about this desk is the lights. I really wish they had a stronger adhesive or came pre-attached or something. Other than that it works, holds everything nicely, assembled fine, it's a desk.

Would recommend two people to build but it was super quick and easy. the L shape can be added to either side to fit what’s best for you. it is super sturdy while maintaining a sleek design and has a ton of workspace- the added shelf makes it very easy to organize the workspace as well. the desktop has a carbon fiber type design which looks really great. highly recommend! ... show more

My son wanted his computer on top of the desk so he can see the lights inside of it so it has to be on the right. We elected to not add the back shelf on the main desk not only so the computer could be on top, but also so that the monitor would be safe. The shelf would have been too narrow to have the monitor on it. We did add the shelf on top of the L part of the desk. It is pretty cool that the desk is so versitile. The only down side is how thin the shelves are. It is definately not a sturdy desk. I think it is fine to hold a computer but my kid wanted to sit on top of the desk and that was a hard no. I would worry the desk would split. He has a realtively small space for a desk so this desk was a prefect fit as it is not bulky. ... show more

Great desk and easy to put together. It feels pretty sturdy and isn't heavy so it's easy to move around as needed. The lights have to be put on yourself but it's a very easy process and they come with a remote so you can adjust the colors and pattern. Very nice!

This is a nice desk. It's larger than I thought it would be, and I wish I had assembled it before I put it in my office, because after assembling it, I realized it will not fit through the door when I move... it's wider than a normal door. The instructions were a bit confusing, because there are more holes on the parts than are used in the assembly of the desk, which left me wondering if I did it right, and also led to more than one occurrence of having to undo a few parts and change the orientation and put them back together. The light kit is clearly a last-minute idea, because it isn't mentioned anywhere in the directions, and you have to use one of the two plugs on the desk to power the lights. All that being said, this is a really sturdy desk, and has the capacity for lots of books. The monitor shelf can easily hold 2 monitors, but the shelf for your computer isn't really built for the computer... it's too narrow and sits too close to the other shelf. So, you'll still need a separate stand for your tower. Overall, it's a great desk maybe for work with your laptop and docking station, but not for use as a gaming rig desk. ... show more
