I have to say that I am very happy with this desk. I had been looking for a smaller desk for my third floor office to replace a small antique writing desk that my fiancée and I are handing down to her daughter. At 47" wide, this desk fit the bill. The desk arrived within a three days of ordering. It was fully intact with all necessary parts accounted for. Each piece was nicely labeled to correspond to the instructions and all screws, bolts, and accessories were in individual labeled bags. This made assembly much easier, as I didn't have to guess at what part or hardware was needed for each step. Assembly was fairly straightforward and took me about an hour. With proper planning, assembly can be done by one person. For me, the most difficult part was carrying the box up two flights of stairs. While all the necessary tools (phillips screwdriver, allen wrench, and small bolt wrench) were included, I chose to use my ratcheting screwdriver with a hex attachment, which made tightening the all of the screws much easier. One piece of advice - DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN THE SCREWS. They only need to lightly hand tightened, not torqued down. If you choose to install the LED strip, as I did, place it on the inner part of the metal bar at the front of the upper shelf. Start at the far back corner on the side opposite of the power strip. Working your way from the back corner toward the front corner, pushing down as you turn the corner. Peeling the blue backing off the adhesive as you go along will help. A word of advice about the adhesive backing, be careful not to pull the backing off of the strip as I almost did. Work your nail under the thin strip of blue backing to separate it from the adhesive which will remain on the LED strip. The strip is perfectly measured to go from one rear corner to the other, with the USB power cable ending right above the power strip where it can be plugged in. While the LED strip is a nice touch, I probably won't use it too much, especially because the white setting on mine tends to flicker a bit (other color settings do not flicker). Other than the flickering LED, I find this to be a nice, good quality, and easy to assemble desk. It's no Herman Miller, but for the money, it's an outstanding value. ... show more

While I wish the bottom level extended out a little more, it's still really amazing, and love the style. I did knock off 1 star because the led light though it looked cool, the adhesive didn't stick. When I tried to remove it from the other end it ripped the light strip completely. It's not the largest so I recommend this only if you don't have a lot to put on it ... show more

Two #3 boards from the instruction book are missing, the small section is not very stable. Top section is not really stable enough for two monitors. Whole table is very wiggly right now. I don’t know if it’s because I’m missing two boards or the whole thing just poorly structured

I don't have much space in my room so this was a perfect desk for me. The only issue was that a tiny piece of the carbon fiber was chiped of at the cornerfrom shipping but I was able to hide it with black tape.
