This honestly looks like a $300+ chair. The upholstery is beautiful, it's sturdy, well designed, and a definite step above any other chairs in this price range. Couple of things to note: the headrest of the chair is angled a little farther forward than other chairs I've tried in this style. This bothered me but doesn't bother my husband who is keeping the chair for himself so it's not a negative necessarily but something to be aware of. Additionally, the armrests don't 'lock' in place and will rotate with a medium amount of pressure. It's mildly annoying but not a deal breaker. The seat is also pretty firm but that is pretty normal for this style of chair. Besides these small things, I only have great things to say about this chair. The star base is solid metal and comes as one complete part, not a center piece with separate legs like many other chairs. Everything is packaged extremely well and there were no damaged or dented pieces. Was easy to assemble although keep in mind you may need a second person to get the back attached. Recline function is great, rocking function is great, no creaks clicks or pops. Lumbar pillow and head pillow are both very nice and soft/supportive. Arm rests are fairly wide set but that is typical of this style. Upholstery is, again, beautiful. Much higher quality than you normally see at this price point. Obviously the longevity of this chair remains to be seen but I hope it holds up well and have no reason to believe it won't. I don’t typically write reviews for good things but this chair definitely exceeded my expectations! I’m 5’10”, 225lbs, as ridiculous as I feel pointing that out I’m not a small guy, but not huge. This chair is a perfect fit for me, my back doesn’t have the sides smooshing me together to fit and the seat is broad enough for my thighs. It feels sturdy in addition to being comfortable. It’s also a great fit for my wife that’s 5’ 110lbs, and she doesn’t look or feel swallowed by it. It has numerous options for tilt, height, while still being a chair that rocks (which I needed). I didn’t think I would care about the neck and lumbar pad but they are a great addition for the added support. All that to say AND it looks good, the clean quilted pattern look sets it off. I spend a lot of time at the computer and struggled to find a good chair that didn’t break the bank that would fit me as a bigger guy but that my wife would also find comfortable, this one was perfect. The media could not be loaded. First impressions after 24hr: For reference im 5'11 ~165lbs and I fit almost perfectly in the chair. The seat and backrest are on the firmer side but I personally like it, especially with the stitching pattern it has. The stitches themselves are pretty standard. Looks-wise this chair is amazing in my opinion, I have a mostly all black setup so finding a chair of this quality in all black is great. The backrest can be positioned pretty far back and the tilt function feels very smooth. Combining these two I can almost make my back parallel to the ground, great for naps 👍 The pillows have that suede feel and are really comfortable. The way the back pillow is shaped it can be positioned higher or lower on the backrest, I don't know if that's by design or just a coincidence but not having the pillow drop after leaning forward or standing up is a nice plus. The seat has arms that can move up and down and can face left or right with one click in each direction. The base is like 85% metal, with the tension knob, wheels and piston cover being the exceptions. The assembly was very straightforward and the instructions were easy to understand. The box comes with a lot of styrofoam and plastic packaging but thats standard for chairs like these. I recommend having a trash bag on standby to collect the trash as you build. I had a gift card and only paid about $25 for the chair. However had I not had the gift card I would gladly pay full price. I feel this chair is for those who don't want to drop $500-$1,000+ on a high-end brand like Secretlab or Herman Miller, but still want good quality and comfort. Chair seems very quality built. Everything is metal and very sturdy. The material feels soft and the stitching looks great. Padding is great for long days of work/gaming etc. The only downsides are the armrests are a little small, it only reclines about 15° and the wheels don't move very well on carpet.
