In order of ages in my home: Newborn/3 weeks old. Absolutely loves staring at the black and white scenes. The moon with stars and a few comets or meteors is a favorite of his. He stops crying as soon as I turn it on. 4yr old. He LOVES going through the different slides asking, what is this... what is that... he has a shirt with stars and space on it, he ran and put it on and said, Look Nonna, stars while point at the projected image and his shirt! School ages: The slides are named, so they have educational value as well as the calm, relaxing value kids often need. Adults: While the spinning aspect is a bit slow for my younger ones, it's perfect for adult needs. It can stop too which I have to do with the visually louder slides. It is relaxing. It's wonderfully educational. It's totally worth the money I spent. I had previously purchased the astronaut as a test run for the toddler aged child. It went well, so I upgraded to this. I hope they have extended slide packages. I'd Absolutely love more space images like astronauts, shuttles... a comment that circles around the outside of the ring as it spins... Also, I think someone should make a combo pack with a laser pointer. I use one to point and label for my 4yr old grandson. And he uses it to ask, what's that one... ... show more

    • Looks good for the price
There are alot of different images, I didn't realize each image required a different slide but thats ok because they are incuded. I read reviews that the image can look blurry over time but I can not speak to that as we have only had this for one month.

    • If you're not purchasing for kids, invest in another.
To be fair, this isn't a bad product at all; it just doesn't check my personal boxes. If you're looking for quality gaming room lighting that's similar to a pococo, you're better off just getting the pococo. If you're not super picky, or you're purchasing this for a teenager or children, this product is right up your alley. The size is alright, the amount of slides it came with is amazing, and the price is reasonable; however I'm just not too thrilled with it personally. This product isn't as bright as I was looking for, it had to compete with several other soft ambient lights in my room which made it's appearance practically unusable for me. The quality of the slides isn't what I was expecting either, the focus wasn't the best, nor was the color unless every other single light in the room was off. This product is a great night light for children, just not for me. ... show more

I do not know who likes this better! My 37 yr old son or his 3 yr old son. I bought this as a gift for my grandson. It's is perfect as a nightlight. It is great that there is multiple slides to project. It is adjustable so you can aim on a wall or ceiling. It also has a timer.

    • Tray got stuck and ball broke off!
Very first time I used it! Now I have a wire wrapped around the tray just so I can pull it out! And don’t be fooled! It probably would look best if the place you are shining it on is less than 6 feet away. It does not work even on my ceiling! You can’t adjust it enough! Waste of my money!

    • Not what we were expecting
The media could not be loaded. I was looking for something to replace the star projector in my kids’ room because our current one runs on batteries which need replacing weekly. Our old projector threw stars all over the room and the stars were recognizable (groups and constellations). I’m not thrilled with the single disc that goes up to the ceiling, or how bright it is for use at night. It is sitting on a shelf about 5 feet from the ceiling and the focus feature is not cutting it so most of the image is blurry. The discs are currently in a scattered pile on the floor which are sure to be lost when my kids wake up. I think I will be returning this for one with different features. ... show more
