We were so surprised by this spare room bed….assembly was spot on…We could understand the directions…boards & parts were all tagged with letters corresponding to the directions. We couldn’t believe the pre-drilled holes actually lined up the way they were supposed to…on top of that, every part, screw & peg came in the box! The instructions to put the bed together were very clear and all parts were labeled well. The bed looks good when put together but is not sturdy. Before anyone has had a chance to even sleep in it, I have found the leg of the headboard broken. Not sure how, as it wasn’t broken when I received it. I can only guess when we moved it after putting it together it snapped. We only had to move it a foot, so to see it has so little structural integrity is very disappointing. We have contacted the seller for replacement parts, but I’m not sure it’s worth keeping. ... show more

It’s fine and was relatively easy to put together. There were a few places where the veneer was peeling or cracked, and there were a few scratches that needed to be touched up right out of the box, which wasn’t ideal. The frame also had a very strong chemical smell that took a couple weeks to fully go away. Also I’ve stubbed my toe a hundred times on the leg that is inexplicably added to the center of the side rail. Not sure who thought that one through because the placement is terrible - warn your guests to watch their toes! ... show more

This is my first ever negative review ever. I am requesting a refund and they are refusing to pay me back. Number one -- the holes where the wood pegs are to go are not aligned correct. The adjoining pieces in some areas are not aligned and when trying to align the board that was go back on the board that is the headboard the peg went through the headboard because I had to press it over and down because it wasn't going in it wasn't aligned the hole was not aligned. Also the slats to hold the bed in place, the mattress, in place are too short. They are all too short except for 2 or 3 of them, the rest are too short. They are an accident waiting to happen. I had to screw in the screws at an angle, not straight down as they are designed to be screwed in. This bed is not a good bed. I don't know how it passed inspection. I really am shocked because this bed should not have passed inspection. God forbid somebody sleeping on that bed will end up on the floor one night because the slats are not long enough. There is way too much freeplay from frame and slat because they are too short. The bed is a lemon. This bed should never have passed inspection and I mean never.👎🏻 ... show more

I dont even have a picture because I just could not deal with how terrible this looked when I got it. It kind of looks like the picture but its not well made. Spend a couple hundred dollars more and get what you want instead, you are investing in your sleep.
