The only main negative thing I’ve seen on my mat is the imprints in my photo from where the strap was holding in for a very long time which is on both sides, but this doesn’t particularly bother me, and it’s just on the very ends of the mat. The mat itself is a good length for me, and while it is pretty firm, it is much more comfortable than my floor. I tend to get sweaty hands, and even through a few uses I don’t find myself slipping at all, and the mat stays in place. I know some people were complaining about a smell, but mine hardly smells at all. It does have a rubber smell to it which makes sense, but I only notice it if my face is on or just above the mat, and it’s not super unpleasant and doesn’t bother me. I wouldn’t say the strap itself is necessarily comfortable if you’re gonna sling it over your shoulder because it’s standard Velcro, but it is definitely lightweight and easy to carry, and it doesn’t take up much space when rolled up. This is my first yoga mat as I’ve just started, so I do have nothing to compare it to, but I am very happy with my purchase. When this one wears out I am likely to buy from this brand again. ... show more

These mats look nice and they are not super stretchy, in fact, they feel heavy duty. So versatile. You could do high impact exercising as well as classic yoga on these. I had mats prior to these that would stretch so far every time I was in a plank, my feet and elbows becoming further apart with every second. With these, that’s not the case. Highly suggest.
