Top Amazon Reviews

🚀 Abunda's Overview

This is our summary and key points to consider based on customer reviews.

The product under review seems to be a high-performing DDR5 RAM, which has been described as fast, reliable, and good value for the money. Some customers mentioned that the heat sinks felt well-built and the RAM has a sleek and elegant appearance, accentuated by RGB lighting. However, some users noted instability when pushing the RAM past 6000 Mhz, suggesting there may be a limit to the RAM's overclocking capabilities.

Pros

  • ⚡ High-performance DDR5 RAM
  • 👍 Good value for money
  • 💡 Elegant RGB lighting
  • 🔧 Well-built heat sinks

Cons

  • ❌ Ram exhibits instability over 6000 Mhz
  • 🔄 RGB lighting resets after every reboot
  • 🔧 Some users have reported a stick failing prematurely
  • 🔥 The RAM can potentially run hot, reaching up to 85c in some cases

Should I Buy It?

Despite a few hiccups, it seems this DDR5 RAM could be a good choice for those seeking high performance and valued for money. If you plan to overclock it beyond 6000 Mhz, you might face some issues, but otherwise, it seems reliable. Also, consider your aesthetic preferences, as the dynamic RGB lighting can be a pleasant enhancement for some.

  • They work and look great
The media could not be loaded. I bought these for the upgraded Ram 64 GB 32x2 I don’t OC them to 6400 haven’t tried so far I leave them at 6000 . I mainly game on BF 2042 with everything on high. No issues. I did have to reseat them twice. I mainly just leave my computer in Sleep . The pic shows the RGB will remain lit in sleep mode. That’s normal. If you shutdown your computer the lights go off. I posted pics of them in sleep. I’m satisfied with them. Make sure you don’t mix your Ram sticks. And my MB is an Asus z790 P with wifi , no issues. ... show more

  • Fast and elegant
Top rating DDR5 Ram... Such a shame that it's not aura syncable. However, top notch performance and value. I will definitely get another 64GB pack to test 128gb stability on my i9-13900K

  • Super fast speeds & the RGB looks amazing too.
Not much to say other than this memory was fast and looked really good in my computer with the RGB too. Easy install other than to get the full speed of the rated XMP I had to change a few settings in my bios; but this is normal for DDR5.

  • Great product
I didn’t really need/want RGB but they were on sale. I think they are good and heat sinks feel really well built.

  • One stick died in 6 weeks
Had a stick die in 6 weeks. I’ve been building PCs for 20 years and never had that happen. The total RMA turnaround was 3 weeks. I shipped the bad stick back 2 day air and the return was sent UPS ground from west coast to east coast. This ram was used in a production environment. RMA process was easy but took a while. ... show more

  • Not great for 12th gen, but...
Notice: 2x32GB is not officially supported by z690 aorus master and you should not expect the advertised XMP profile timings from this kit to stay stable with 12th gen processor. Its running on Hynix chip. If you require more than 32GB but you want full bandwith and to be able to run your RAM at ~6000-6400 Mhz, you have to avoid quad-channel, as additional ram will drop down your overclocking capabilities by ~200 Mhz. 12th gen z690 users you have been warned. If not for the steep price the product is pretty good. Compared to Kingston Beast Fury i noticed less delay even on the same timings/speeds. Tested on bios F21. Negatives: RGB comes back with every reboot, even if you disable it in the system. Also, G.Skill Trident Z5 RGB Series can run at 28-34-34-89 at 5600 and 6000 Mhz. ... show more

  • Memtest errors galore, defaults to 4400
I build a new PC every 5 years or so for both my wife and I, and I've used G.Skill ram in the last 6 PCs I've built. I'm being forced to go with a different brand this time. I purchased the 6400 frequency of this model, and got BSODs and hundreds of memtest errors. I replaced with the same exact model, and got the same exact errors. G.Skill's website technically says the 6000 and 5600 versions are compatible with my motherboard but don't mention the 6400. I thought I'd grab the 6000 then just to be safe, but searched around and found reviews stating the exact same thing about the 6000--that the Z790 mobo they have recognizes it as a lower frequency and memtest errors out. Once you realize the frequency is wrong, you can manually change that and the memtest errors go away, however the system doesn't boot right after that change and there's still some instability. For the first time in more than a decade I'm going to have to go with Corsair or Kingston instead of G.Skill. ... show more
