  • You're paying for quality! Don't cheap out on RAM!
Color: Matte black
I recently invested in the G.Skill Trident Z5 RGB Series (Intel XMP) 32GB DDR5 memory, and I must say, it's worth every penny. While it may cost a bit more than its competitors, the stability, performance, and sheer aesthetic appeal make it a standout choice. First and foremost, the stability of this memory module is exceptional. It performs flawlessly, even under demanding workloads and intense gaming sessions. I experienced no crashes or performance issues, allowing me to push my system to its limits with confidence. The reliability of G.Skill's Trident Z5 series is truly impressive. Speaking of performance, this memory module is a beast. With a clock speed of 6400MHz and low CL32-39-39-102 timings, it delivers lightning-fast data transfer rates and snappy response times. This translates into improved overall system performance and a seamless multitasking experience. Whether I'm editing videos, gaming, or running resource-intensive applications, this memory keeps up effortlessly. Now, let's talk about its appearance. The matte black finish of the G.Skill Trident Z5 module is sleek and sophisticated. It adds a touch of elegance to my system and enhances the overall aesthetics. The RGB lighting is customizable, allowing me to synchronize it with other components and create stunning lighting effects that truly elevate the visual appeal of my setup. While the G.Skill Trident Z5 RGB Series may have a slightly higher price tag, the stability, exceptional performance, and stunning design make it worth every dollar. If you're looking for memory that delivers top-notch performance, impeccable stability, and looks pretty damn cool, this is the module to go for. It's a worthy investment that will enhance your computing experience and make your rig stand out from the crowd. ... show more

  • Mismatched this and it works (amd and intel)
Color: Matte black
There is an equivalent amd expo ram kit that g skill offers that has the exact same specs as this one. They say to not mix and match. But the specs are the exact same. So i did some research and the conclusion was that the main thing that matters for ram is matching the specs. I purchased this one although my existing set was the amd expo set. Works like a charm. I thought it did not work but boot time is longer than usual when you first install a new ram set. Once up and running the system recognized the new set and ran like normal. Since I already had the previous g skill ram kit this one automatically turned on the rgb lights to match them all (all 4 individual rams). The look is also the exact same as the amd one so I don’t even have a slight variation or anything. Overall I saved about $15 compared to the amd one. For anyone curious, the intel or amd rating means they specifically tested with that platform in mind and they more or less guarantee compatibility. Again, all that matters in the end is ram specs not what the company guarantees will work (amd vs intel). So if I had an intel platform then my amd ram set would work there as well. I’m running these at 6000 MHz 1.4V and the rated timings 32-39-39-102. Not running at 6400mhz because my system is less stable regardless of the fact that my moba is rated for even higher. (i had dropped to 6000mhz from 6400mhz one or two days prior to receiving the new ram kit so this matter is separate). Anyways. Recommend this kit. ... show more

  • Put your RAM in the correct slots!
Color: Matte black
Awesome RAM set. RGB works with ASUS Aura Sync. No issues there. I did have issues during my initial build while installing Windows 11 Pro. I was continually getting BSODs left and right. I was worried I had a damaged component somewhere. I checked the seating of the RAM, the motherboard, video card, nVME SSD, all kinds of stuff. 3 hours later I forgot about that damn Intel XMP profile. It seems a little counter-intuitive, you HAVE to run Intel XMP profiles in BIOS otherwise your RAM will run at something crazy slower, like 70% less whatever your rated speed is. Alas, I discovered the issue was WHERE I had placed my RAM. Most mobos will have their RAM slots in this order: A1, A2, B1, B2. I had them in A1 and A2. Seems like it should be fine there, right? Nope. Re-seated the RAM in slots A2 and B2, turned the default Intel XMP profile on in BIOS, booted to Windows, and checked speed with CPUZ-ID. Boom, RAM was running at its rated speed, 6400MHz. Ran several stress tests. No more BSODs! Hooray! System was stable. It’s 2024 ffs, we should be able to put RAM in any slot and be able to run Intel XMP without it destabilizing the entire rig. But we aren’t there yet, unfortunately. We are a few short time periods away from having AI overlords, but with this stupid crap I’m sure Intel XMP will thwart their plans for world domination. Not G.Skill’s fault. Their RAM runs great, if you install it correctly per Intel’s specs. SK Hynix DRAM, for those that care. Same stuff as Corsair Vengeance chips, just a fancy heatsink makes Corsair’s more expensive I guess. Buy this RAM! ... show more

  • Lightning Fast
Color: Matte black
This RAM was paired with a 7800X3D and a 4070 Ti Super. Averaging over 150 fps on Cyberpunk 2077. The RGB is nice, and has mostly worked well with my fusion 2.0 software of the Gigabyte mobo. XMP was very easy to realize the full potential of this RAM and has run rock steady since installation.

  • Works as described
Color: Matte black
I know the ram itself is made by only 1 of three companies. I wanted a set with Hynix tech in them so I chose these as the time I bought them they were the best price. they look great in my build and perform as designed flawlessly
