  • Maximize Your PC's Potential: G.SKILL Trident Z RAM for Gaming and Productivity
The media could not be loaded. G.SKILL has long been a trusted name in the world of high performance memory, with a clear focus on delivering top tier products at a reasonable price point. The G.SKILL Trident Z Neo Series embodies this mission, offering a combination of exceptional performance and eye catching aesthetics that make it a standout choice for gamers, PC enthusiasts, and workstation builders alike. ★ AMD Optimized, Despite the Intel XMP Label ★ • One of the most impressive features of the Trident Z Neo Series is its optimization for AMD Ryzen CPUs and AMD DDR4 motherboards, despite the "Intel XMP" label in the product title. While XMP (Extreme Memory Profile) is traditionally associated with Intel platforms, G.SKILL has engineered the Neo Series to be fully compatible with AMD systems as well. This means you can confidently pair these modules with the latest AMD Ryzen processors without any compatibility concerns. The Trident Z Neo is specifically tuned to take advantage of AMD's high speed memory controllers, ensuring you get the most out of your Ryzen build. • Running memory in dual channel mode effectively doubles the data bandwidth, allowing for faster communication between the RAM and the CPU. This can result in a smoother and snappier experience, especially in gaming scenarios where every frame counts. The Trident Z Neo's timings of CL18-22-22-42 are optimized to strike a balance between high clock speeds and latency, further enhancing system stability and performance. The combination of high speed, optimized timings, and robust dual channel performance ensures that your games not only look better but also feel smoother, enhancing both visuals and gameplay. • One of the most significant benefits of fine tuning your memory configuration is the impact it has on the 1% low frame rates—which represent the lowest 1% of your frame times. These are the moments when your system is pushed hardest, and maintaining a high 1% low frame rate is crucial for a consistently smooth gaming experience. In fact, I believe that 1% lows are the true indicator of your system's real world FPS performance, as they reflect how well your PC can handle demanding scenarios rather than just the peak frame rates. By optimizing for dual channel and tighter timings, the Trident Z Neo Series helps reduce stutters and frame drops, resulting in a more fluid and immersive experience. ★ Sleek, Heat Spreader Design ★ In terms of design, the Trident Z Neo Series doesn't compromise. It features a dual toned heat spreader that combines black brushed aluminum with powder coated silver accents. This not only provides a premium, stylish look but also serves a functional purpose. The heat spreader is engineered to enhance airflow and improve thermal dissipation, ensuring your RAM stays cool even under heavy loads. This translates to better stability and longevity for your system, especially during intense gaming sessions or heavy multitasking. ★ Conclusion ★ • Overall, the G.SKILL Trident Z Neo Series offers a perfect blend of performance, style, and value. It caters to both Intel and AMD users, making it a versatile choice for a wide range of builds. If you're looking to enhance your gaming PC or workstation with high speed, reliable memory that also looks the part, the Trident Z Neo Series is an excellent option to consider. Whether you're an enthusiast building a high end rig or someone looking to upgrade an existing setup, G.SKILL's commitment to quality and affordability shines through in there impressive memory kits. • I purchased two kits of this RAM, giving me a total of 64GB in a quad-channel configuration. While 64GB might seem like overkill, 32GB is quickly becoming the new standard for those balancing gaming and productivity tasks. From my experience, if you're focused on performance rather than aesthetics, I highly recommend opting for a 2x32GB dual-channel kit instead. This approach offers better stability and the potential for higher clock speeds since consumer CPUs and motherboards are designed to run in dual-channel mode, meaning there's no real benefit from using quad channel on mainstream platforms. Previously, I was using 16GB in my older setup, but I decided to future roof my system while maintaining a modern look, all within a reasonable budget. This upgrade strikes a balance between current needs and long term performance. ★ Current PC Specs ★ CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 5800X @4.6GHz All Core 1.3V (Cooler: SE-207-XT Snow) GPU: MSI RTX 4070 Ti SUPER GAMING X TRIO WHITE 16GB RAM: 4x16 64 GB G.Skill Trident Z Neo DDR4 3600 MHz 18-22-22-42 @1.35V (2 kits in quad channel) M.B.: ASUS B450-F Gaming I Motherboard (5302 BIOS) Drives: Samsung 980 PRO 1TB NVME SSD (O.S. and Storage drive) Samsung 980 PRO 1TB NVME SSD (Games Storage drive) Samsung 870 EVO 1TB SSD (Storage drive) Previous CPU: Ryzen 9 3900x @4.6GHz All Core 1.325V Previous GPU: ASUS ROG STRIX GTX 1660 Ti GAMING OC 6GB Previous RAM: Corsair Vengance 2x8 GB DDR4 3200 MHz 16-18-18-36 @1.35V ... show more

  • Solid price for performance.
Cheaper than most other name brands, good RGB. Performs exactly as advertised. Bonus for Gskill having the best RAM compatibility tool on their website.

  • Works great, looks awesome, and a no-brainer if you want 32 GB of memory for a Ryzen build.
I just finally built a system to upgrade my Core i7 6850K, my new system specs are as follows: AMD Ryzen 9 3900X CPU (Deepcool Castle 360EX CPU cooler) Gigabyte Aorus Master X570 Motherboard (F11 BIOS currently, the latest as of today) 32 GB G. Skill Trident Z Neo 3600 MHz DDR4 Memory (this) Sapphire Radeon Pulse 5700XT Video Card Samsung EVO 1TB SSD (OS drive) Seagate 2TB SSHD (Data) Seagate 5TB HD (Backup/more data) This system is a true beast, with some BIOS tweaks I am hitting 4.6 Ghz boost clocks and it chews through all my software and games. 32 GB of memory is a bit overkill with 16 GB being the sweet spot currently, but I was running 32 GB with my old system so figured I would keep the memory at the same level. This memory performs perfect, is very fast, looks great, and is highly recommended. I have used G. Skill memory for about 8 years now and always get it for my PC builds. I can give this a no-brainer "get this" if you need memory for a Ryzen build. It works at advertised speeds and even allows tighter timings if you so desire. T he one thing that is wrong in the specs is it is Hynix memory, not Samsung. In the pictures you will see my CPU-Z results and information. ... show more

  • Love this RAM
I love the pretty colors (not that I care for them over price-point). I originally bought 2 sticks for 32gb a couple years ago, and recently bought 2 more sticks to upgrade my system to 64GB. Setting up the first 2 sticks was a little confusing just because I did not understand the "profiles" thing in my BIOS. When I got the extra 2 sticks though, no additional setup was needed, so it was seamless. ... show more

  • Nice ram
I just ordered two more of these to total 64 gig in my system as Im thinking it will help editing in Davinci Resolve, Im watching windows resource monitor while playing back 4 6k videos simultaneously and my 32 gigs is getting to 90 plus percent also alot of stuttering. I have them running at 3800mhz on a asus amd hero viii board with 5950x. I can recommend these sticks for sure. Putting them to 3800 on this board was a breeze ... show more

  • Amazing
Running these under my WraithRipper since the Corsair Rams didn't fit. These fit perfect underneath the cooler and with 128GB of RAM they perform well. I love it and the Looks are amazing. There is also easy to use software for lighting controls. Love it.
